Upon first reading needak's post about a functional shotgun, I dismissed him as a moron, but after seeing his dart idea, I had to try it, and they work awesome for shotgun loads.
These little fellas aren't meant for range and accuracy. They're actually perfect for the opposite. I loaded 9 of them into my AT10K and shot at my curtain 30' away. They gave about a 6'-7' spread. Because of the weight being in the middle, it causes them to spin rather than fly straight. Anyway, here's a writeup.
Cut pieces of FBR about 3/8"-1/2" long:
Glue a #8 washer onto one piece:
Put some hot glue onto the top of the washer and glue another piece of foam to it:
Pwn some noobie noobs no-scope style!
It's simple, but these have a great spread that'd be perfect for absolver titans and the like.
