Well, ever since I first saw a vulcan, I thought "this just needs a new look," so this past Wednesday, I came across one when I just so happened to have money in my wallet. Immediately when I got home, I got to work drawing up sketches for the thing, and came us with this...

I hate to be a biter but the barrel's don't spin do they? Even if it doesn't i think it's a cosmetic mod still.

no, but they were originally designed to be attached to the rotation mech. However, if they were, that would cause alot of tortion on the thing and would cause the blaster to shake as the rotation mech isn't constantly rotating.

The weight would kill the rotation mech... Assuming that's pvc on there.

Haha, this is really funny. Everyone is saying that the barrels can't rotate. That's a lie. I have a working vulcan minigun, and I have had that mod done for almost a month. It takes some fiddling, but it does work, and it works well. I just didn't want to reveal it until I got my whole mod done. If anyone wants to question whether or not this is true, ask salindin_naz. I pm'd him about three weeks ago with pics of it. I also have to agree with CS. I didn't really need to see this.

EDIT: not that you didn't do a good job on the looks of this. It looks pretty cool. It just isn't nearly as impressive as your title implies.

Indeed, slowguitarman has done it, and you should all be very jealous that I've been given the sneak peak, and sneak write-up. That's the main reason I've shelved my new Vulcan (the one pictured in my 50 round box write-up). I'm going to try this most amazing mod, but haven't gotten the time just yet to get around to it. All I can say is that I nearly fell out of my chair when I got his PM with the pictures of his awe-inspiring beast of a Vulcan.

Why would it be hard to rotate? Just use PETG and some light spacers, along with a lightweight case to support the whole setup.

Anyone at the Haven has access to petg through OMC. Oh and by the way nice job I love the dry brushing.

Nope. PETG is no good for this mod. If you mean for the barrels...how would the dart even fit through it? The barrels need to be really loose, and it would work well to have a fairly light barrel material, I used all heavy stuff, and it works flawlessly.

Here's an idea. Stick 6 AT2Ks inside of all of those barrels and then we'll have something. Or possibly a hornet. I don't know, take your pick.

Nice cosmetics. Reminds me of Grand Theft Auto.
