Ok, so, I've started this thread to decide upon a name for the upcoming war in Dallas, which to clarify, will be visited by Season of Foam this year. This'll be especially important if this is to be an annual thing.

Not to poop on your parade or anything, but the war already HAS a name...
If you didn't notice, the Season of Foam Trip Map thread lists all wars by location. Case in point, your war is "Season of Foam Nerf Out - Dallas, TX".
If you want to get fancy with abbreviations, SOFNO-Dallas or SOFNO-TX would probably suffice. The reason we aren't using the normal acronyms for any of these locations is to differentiate any locally hosted normal wars from the Season of Foam events.
Hate to burst your bubble, but even if you come up with a cool name, it won't be used in any part of the season of foam production, planning threads, or the like. If you want to use this as a way to come up with a name for future events (because that's what SOF is for...planting the seed for you all to start getting together regularly on your own) that's fine, and I'd encourage it.

I don't want to drive 9 hours round trip avery month for a war.
And I'm the only one who can drive I think.

Moving on, it's SOFNO-Tx for SoF and DAFT for non-SoF. It's kinda obvious DAFT is winning...
