One of my friends is willing to sell me an airzone blaster (you pull the top handle up to cock it, not sure of the name), a first gen NF, and some other older gun (a blue nerf gun with four barrel nubs and a green slide, it has the old logo)for thirty dollars total. They are all working and aren't horribly bad. He also has a DTB for 15 in perfect condition and a scout for 5 with a limited edition paintjob. Is this a good deal (fifty dollars for all of these)? My other friend has a first gen NF for 15, is that a good deal (this one works, too)?

~Br1

PS: I don't really know if this is suppose to be in the sales section, but I thought that general was better.

It all depends on how much you like/want the guns. It's not that bad, but you should haggle with him.

Your friends don't sound really like friends if their charging that much. Sure maybe that's how much someone on the forums would pay, but they're your friends! They really shouldn't be charging you that much.

Man, I wish I could get that good a deal (or even find) what sounds like a Max Shot. that older gun is reminding me for some reason of the AT1K, but is probably isn't. However, if you are going to replace the spring the Nie Finder, you are better off just getting a new one. (Unless there is something else about the 1st Gen's that I missed.) The only guns you should wonder about is the Scout. That is your choice.

But now that I think about, Tantum is a little right. Except for (what sounds like) a Max Shot.

Edit- You are right, JSB. Lets ask for the color.

Huh. Having just purchased two of them at Goodwill tonight ($1.99 each!) the old Nerf with four barrels may be an SM1500. The very vague description fits.

I'm with Bob on the 4-nub w/ top green slide gun - it is most likely either an SM250 or an SM350. (The SM1500 doesn't have a green slide on top, it has a green pump handle on the bottom.) I can personally attest to the robust nature of the SM250, my church youth group has had about thirty of these things for roughly a decade, and only six of them have failed, despite regular use and abuse. (And I believe most of the "failures" are fixable - I opened one up recently and found it to have a broken plunger rod - which can be fixed just like the ones found in NF's.)

Now that I see that picture, they're the First Shot and the SM250.

Your friends suck. Do they go out on dates with "your" girlfriend too? Brand new, current blasters with similar designs are all available for better prices.

Current Nightfinder with spring replacement, <$10.
Pistolsplat or Wipeout $20, and WAY better than the Firstshot.
AT2K $9.

He said he'll give me the SM250, the First Gen NF, a Scout, and the First Shot for a big blast and 15 dollars, is that a good deal?

How many Big Blasts do you have, what gen, and what wars do you go to?

If you just need a secondary/ pistol, go ahead. Unless it is your only Big Blast, or it is a newer one. Of course, if you go to a war where the 4B is banned, even better to just do it.

Otherwise, I would not give a crap to him if he wanted a Big Blast. Enough said.

In truth, its your decision. But hey, I post what I post. And I agree with Drac.

So call it a $20 value for your part. First Gen. Value $12? Sm250 $1? Scout $5? And first shots suck, but are a little rare so I don't know $3?. If you like springer pistols and don't have any of those guns, I'd go for it, unless there's something he's not telling you.

I've shot all of them and they're pretty good stock (except for the sm250), but if I buy a gun, I mod it.

The First Gen NF is the only good thing there, and I think Scouts look great. I'd just ask him if you can buy those two alone. Maybe a Big Blast for them.

Sorry about the double post, but my other friend has a virgin X-bow for 50 bucks, I thought that was a great deal, but in case it wasn't, he said he could negotiate a little.

That depends. I've been allured by a friend with an "X-Bow" before. Ends up being a BBB. If it IS the Nerf Crossbow, you'd be an idiot not to purchase it for $50. Simply because you can flip it for $200 right after.

I was kind of thinking that, but I'd rather keep it unless I really needed the money.

I'd probably keep it as well. The price is going to keep rising, so you might as well have some fun with it. If you're going to mod it, do it right. Use Splitlip's guide. http://projectnerf.c...11/splits-xbow/

I have that on favorites because he's selling that gun, I just hope it's not the BBB (I have no problem with that gun I just would rather have an X-bow for obvious reasons).

Sorry about yet another double post, but my current deal with my two friends is $65 and a big blast for: a Scout, an SM250, a First Generation NiteFinder, a First shot, and a CrossBow. I'm going to try and get a Fourth Generation NiteFinder out of the deal, too.
