I know everyone is raving about the huge 100 yd interception run back for a TD, but he didn't deserve it.I you had watched his personal foul later on in the game, that should have taken out that TD. Seriously! He shoved the Cards guy down 3 times! Count em', 3!!!!! So this is all of you people who are like " OMG AWESOMESAUCE!" He didn't deserve it.

What the fuck? were you paying ANY attention? He had a "good" (more like fucking orgasmic, but have it your way) play, but by no means should that be taken away! The calls against Arizona were re-donk-ulus, but they were an amazing team. If only New york would ditch Eli and pick up Warner!

Dude, that was an awesome catch. Oh, and don't be sorry for Arizona, the underdogs suck ass.

Did you watch any of the Super Bowls the Patriots were in?

What the fuck? How did we get to patriots? I wasn't talking about the underdog teams in general, but Arizona.

Regardless of everyone's opinions of the refs, the Steelers deserved to win. The reason being is simple. No matter the conditions, when they need that critical score, they ALWAYS make it happen. They play freakishly consistent above average football.

As a Ravens fan I have some choice words about a certain Santonio Holmes "touchdown" though. :P He can't seem to make a TD catch that is a cut and dry reception if his life depended on it.

I don't have the NFL Rulebook memorized, but I'm still trying to figure this one out. (Note - I had neither emotional nor financial investment in either team, so I don't care who won or lost.)

The Cardinals were called for roughing the kicker, because a guy tripped and toppled into him after the kick. The Steelers were given a first down - retaining the ball.

The Steelers were called for roughing the kicker, because a guy who apparently has a really bad attitude problem held the guy down and shoved him numerous times after the kick. The Cardinals were awarded what amounted to a 6 inch penalty putting the Steelers nearly inside the rear endzone. (Yes, this did eventually result in that crazy Safety, but...)

Why were the penalties called in that manner? To me, the Cardinals "roughing" was uninentional, and certainly not aggravated. The Steelers, on the other hand, was quite intentional, and what I would call "flagrant" (does that exist in the NFL?). Why was the Cardinals' penalty more severe than the Steelers'?

All personal fouls are 15 yard penalties. But if the ball is within 15 yards from the goaline, it goes "half the distance to the goaline". So let's say you're at the 5, then you'd be at the 2.5 yard line.

Also, lets get this straight. James HArrison is the guy who returned the interception 100 yards and later committed a personal foul. That personal foul was only called because he punched to the guy. Everything else he did was perfectly legal. Your allowed to keep throwing a guy down while the play is going on....

I understand the "half the distance" deal, what I don't understand was why one team retained possession and was granted an automatic first down, whereas the other team simply got the yardage penalty. They were both called for "roughing the kicker", shouldn't the penalty have been the same, or am I missing something?

Ambience, the penalties were both the exact same, but when the Steeler's guy commited the penalty, it was not on the kick, it was on a blocker. Not that that mkaes any difference. Also both were clearly penalties, there's no debate.

Now, when arizone was on defense, it was fourth down and their player clearly roughed the kicker. SO now, Pitt gets a first down and goes half the distance to the goal(since it's within the 15 yards to the endzone).

When the Steeler's player commited a personal foul, the penalty was also half the distance to goal from hwere the ball was caught on the punt. They can't be awarded a first down or anything because it would already be first down anyway.

Don't know if you know this, but football is war. Except without guns. I have had that exact thing happen to me multiple times and it wasn't even called. Go Steelers!

Now they decide to penalize Holmes for his use of the football as a prop in his Touchdown Dance. Refs claimed that they weren't watching at the time and didn't see it because they were busy getting ready for the point attempt after the the touchdown.
