This post is for both homeades & modifications, but my parents get pissed if I open my guns up and she knows if I do it because its so loud. Is there a way to silence it.

not really. You can try stuffing the empty space with foam or FBR, but in the end, there's little you can do to silence a springer nerf gun. You can try hot glueing some foam or FBR onto the plunger head to dampen the sound. If you want quieter guns, pump/air guns will be better. Or just leave the AR in and deal with the crap ranges.

Silence opening up a gun? Take apart the shells very slowly and carfully, makign sure that you don't make much noise.

As for silencing the gun itself (when it shoots), shove either FBR or spray some Expanding foam in all the dead space in the gun (which doesn't work will in a LS... because there isn't much dead space, in fact there's basically none). Or you can put some foam on the end of the plunger head to soften the blow against the plunger tube (make sure it's on there EXTREMELY tight or else it'll be ripped off and get caught in your plunger tube).

Wait, your asking us how to sneak modding? Unless you're parents are constantly drunk, you're going to need their permission to modify blasters.

You could also put a piece of fbr on the plunger head.
