Just for the weapons testing, possibly have the person who is using the gun in question stand 50 feet(roughly) from someone who is firing the gun. If they are not going to agree to it, that gun is auto-banned.

I like the sound of that, hopefully the person firing can aim well :D

And with the melee weapons, I think they should be allowed, it would make the game fast paced. Great for attacking zombies *hint hint*

If melee weapons are legal, watch out for:

A. me, bomberman, and the others in my group in some caffiene-crazed banzai charge, which happens to be 60 years out of style. :)

B. me screaming "PERMA-BAN!!!"( :P ) after slugging some one with the ban hammer. How did you people miss that before

If you Nerf in western washington, PM me

So you see a penguin walking down the street. Looks harmless right, so you keep on walking past him. You turn around to seem him walk away, only to find yourself staring down the barrel of a .38 revolver.

So I have an idea for a new game. Don't know if anybody's played Battlefield: Bad Company or not, but the online game is called gold rush. It's got 2 teams, One team defends the 2 gold crates, and the other, obviously, tries to destroy them. Since I've never been to a war before, I don't know if there is already a game like this or if it would even work, but it kinda sounds like it would be fun.

Feedback?

Hmm. The thing is it may be hard to tell if someone hit the object we would use as the "gold crate." maybe it could be you have to touch it to "destroy" it.

Well That's kinda what I was thinking. I'm sure between all of us we should be able to come up with something. I'm thinking some kind of confetti cannon rigged to blow after so many shots. Or maybe some sort of IR sensor from a disk shot game?.....

Yes, Marymoore park in Redmond. Everything that is set in stone has been edited in to the first post. In the future, you can check that periodically for all of the pertinent information.

So, should I mark you down as a definite?

Also, I have added a bunch of information to the first post which may help those of you working on ballguns.

Hmm. Maybe we could have a few "Demolition" nerfers that could plant a confetti "bomb" on the crate. or have one of those M80 firecrackers (bad idea).

Yeah the M80 is a bad idea, although it is Washington where fireworks are legal.... Maybe something along those lines that doesn't cause that much destruction? Or maybe we should just stick to the confetti bomb
Does anybody know anything about making IR sensors? I still think that's not a bad idea, that way you would have to get at least a certain distance from it to set it off

Noooo melee weapons except in certain gametypes. It just won't work. The only reason barrel tapping isn't unbalanced is because you have to have your gun loaded and primed. Its more of a mercy kill than a melee one.

Oooh lookey here, I found some mortar launchers that could be pointed at the box.

http://www.tntfirewo...y-shell-6-shot/

Woah, wait, its at a park, so they might not allow it. fireworks+flammable boxes+wooded area+teen nerfers (and I guess old skoolers coughdraconiscough)= not so good.

Well you can put me down in the old skoolers catagory, cuz I'm no spring chicken (Prob about the same age as Draconis) Back on topic, Let's not use anything, or even put anymore ideas out there, that cause destruction, or involves fire. Bad ideas!

Nice double post ninja mods

Yah. I think we should just take a big orange thing and put it on top and say "boom." Or we could have a timer (or go longhaul and bring a battery operated microwave and throw a spoon and batteries in it, and set it for 20:00  ).

Just use a bunch of these. Have them connected to some sort of "detonator" that you have to pull. They're $2 for 8 or so. I am a confirmed for getting there.

This may be far less elaborate, but what about a simple array of pop cans? One dart [i]should[/] be capable of knocking over a can, right? Set out however many cans we wish to give the crate as "hit points", and when all the cans are over, it's destroyed. Naturally, a larger projectile like missile or ball (Ha! Finally a use for Titans!) may knock over multiple cans.

Yes!!! Great idea, someone can bring some titans and we can have demolitioners. Ok, so now that we got that out of the way, for the most part, we need to come up for rules for a game of HzV (if people want to, just tell us your ideas).

Fireworks are legal in SOME places in WA. this location is not one of them. Also we are not looking to draw undue attention to ourselves. Don't bring them.

Just use a bunch of these. Have them connected to some sort of "detonator" that you have to pull. They're $2 for 8 or so. I am a confirmed for getting there.

If you want to clean up the confetti. Sure.

They're not so much confetti, but 10 streamers each, often hooked together.
