Bitterness and old age set in at age 22? Stop bitching and make it to an event .Why couldn't events like this take place when I was an active nerfer..almost a decade ago? Now I am a bitter old man.

So when you say locations are released at a later date, this will be about how much notice before hand?
That's a Good question, most likely it will be less than a month before the events... but I can't confirm that.
Don't call it a comeback, I never left.

That would be nice, I need at least a 2 week notice. I don't think I'm the only one who would need to know, but I have to buy EVERYTHING I need on the trip without parents aid, and going out the night before won't work for me. I'm excited to see!

Standard promotional shirts will not be sold on the trip; they're all currently available in our Zazzle store, and more are being added on a fairly frequent basis.
Other, customized shirts will be available on the trip. We're not releasing any information about just what those shirts will have on them, but they'll be of a more situational style then generic "Season of Foam" promotional shirts. Bags will most likely hop in here shortly and give you some more details, as he's the one who manages our Zazzle store.

YOUR NAME- C. Zimmermann(Mindlord)
AND LOCATION- St Louis
WHAT WAR ARE YOU COMING TO? Topeka, KS
HOW MANY OTHERS? 9-20 others Do I need an exact number?
I'm going to assume the Topeka, KS event is only going to be a one day event.
I read the first post and nothing in between. Sorry if I missed something but...
I know you mostly likely cannot answer this yet but will there be housing accommodations for one night or should I plan on a hotel?
Will there be extra ammo and or guns provided, or for sale, at the event?
Also let me know if your going to stop at St. Louis, I would love to hook up with you guys there.
Can't WAIT!

Now, I'm not making the entire trip, but they are not going to provide housing. They aren't your babysitters.
I would like to know if there would be guns for sale. I mean like, NF's with the logo on em. I would so buy one.
Edit: I've seen the occasional "We know where some of the wars will be, but others we do not." from the SOF team. Wondering, which are known? And maybe that would clear up some confusion,

Have you guys made arrangements for your trip to Vancouver? Is someone already making plans for the war? I can bring maybe 6 to 10 people, depending on availability and whatnot. Let me know what's up. I know there are two other active nerfers in here aside from me and my crew, and I've just pm'ed Betrayal and SuperDetectiveSpy.

I do believe I sent an email already regarding that inquiry a while ago. That war currently doesn't have an active community representative pulling the event together. If you feel up for it, consider it your responsibility to find a location adequate to handle about 18 nerfers with plenty of cover.

Where exactly is the one in Sacramento? I live in San Francisco and it is the only one close, my parents aren't willing to pay a plane ticket just for me to go to a nerf war. Please respond anyone who knows.
As far as I know, no one has stepped up to the plate for that one.
There is a small crew who have now held a couple of events in Tracy, which would not be very far at all away from the route, while at the same time a lot closer for us bay area folks.
Wow, it's good to know there are some bay area people on NH. So it is in a place called "Tracy" what is the exact address, what street?

Yes, you did. My mistake. Thanks!I do believe I sent an email already regarding that inquiry a while ago.
I am currently beginning to add location addresses for each of these events. I am working on it even now, so please don't start hounding me if your regional event doesn't have an address yet. If you are pretty sure there ISN'T a set location for your regional event, please email me at tripmap@seasonoffoam.com and we'll talk options. Remember, I've never been to any of these places, so I'm trusting YOU to give me a good location that won't cause us trouble with local law enforcement.
Nevertheless, don't be worried about submitting a location because you don't want that kind of responsibility. I am notorious for finding replacement locations on the spur of the moment. If the cops kick us out of somewhere because permission wasn't gained ahead of time or some other lack of foresight, we'll be nerfing again in half an hour.
Now that location addresses are being posted, start making your travel arrangements NOW, so that you can make absolutely sure that you don't have last-minute parental travel issues, etc.
If you've never been to an organized nerf war before, and your parents are skeptical, PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP! This goes for those of you who aren't yet validated as well! HAVE YOUR PARENTS EMAIL ME and I'll do what I can to explain how the system works, and give them every reason to feel comfortable with taking you to one of our events. Again, that email address to contact me at is tripmap@seasonoffoam.com
