Jeez, I just looked at the dates in detail, I stand a fair shot of making at least 1 out of the 3. St. Paul, Royal Oak, and my family vacation appears to be going to Dallas in august(yeah I know it's gonna be hot.). So I should make 1 of the 3.

Nice, a WA war. I'm pretty sure me and the rest of the WA crew will be there. I'll have to check first though. Maybe I can even get my brother to tag along.

I will be attending the schenetedy and Mill creek games barring any crazy event. And we should be able to bring a decent contingent.

The Schenectady war is going to be Effeminate. Wardog clan(us) is at least 5 people, possibly 8 or 10, plus your contingent, plus TNL, plus the SOF-T 5. We never get that many people. I am soo excited.

Oh, and HONK. I got the joke/irony before it was explained

I'm going to plan on coming to the Michigan war since Ohio looks to be out of the picture.

In related news, I sent my dad a link to the SOF trailer (he runs the web section of the Columbus Dispatch) and he thought it would make a great story. I don't know how it would go down, but there is some possible press there-- I'll keep him (and you guys) updated as it gets closer to summer.

For anything press-related, please contact Bags. He's handling the legal aspect of the filming and etc., so he'd be the one to talk to regarding that. If you have any further developments, I'm sure he'd be glad to hear them.

I'm planning on attending the Monday, July 20th war in Seattle. Do you folks have any sort of location already determined for these wars? What about banned blasters, that sort of thing? I suppose I slightly jumped the gun and began a planning thread for Seattle, but I just want to make sure it goes off without a hitch.

Draconis, it was said in earlier posts that each war is supposed to be totally the area's. So whatever rules you generally use are applied to the SoF war including homemades H2H etc.

Anyway, I thought it was kind of strange to have a thread with the title "Season of Foam Trip Map" without a map, so this is what google is suggesting.

I almost want to curse at you for posting that, but that's only because I stared at that exact same map for six hours today while assembling the final route, and as such, (for the time being) I hate it with a fiery burning passion.

I should be at the Seattle war with at least one guest. Only possible complication is a family reunion, but I'm pretty sure that's earlier in the month. I'm SO glad you guys chose to come to Seattle. Don't be afraid. The rain isn't as bad as people make it out to be.

A week ago, 2/3rds of Southern California's Nerfers spent a full day nerfing in an open park. Half of that was in the rain. 'Twill be child's play.

This is just a stupid check, and I post this here so someone can correct me if I am wrong, but after June 1 you need US Passports to cross the Canadian border. This is a change in the rules. If you were not aware of this and do not have a passport, I'd check with the State Department about now-ish.
