Alright, this is how things are going to work. We are NOT taking any further requests for location to stop at because we can only afford three weeks on the road, and can't fit anything further into the road map. If you were under the impression that I had told you we would come to your location specifically, please EMAIL ME at tripmap@seasonoffoam.com DO NOT PM ME.

Alright, here is the schedule as it stands for the Season of Foam trip. I have not listed who we'll be staying with, specific addresses of war locations, or what we'll be doing between the events. That is a logistical nightmare that you don't need to worry about. If you've mentioned interest/a willingness to house the Season of Foam team for the night, you will be contacted shortly, so sit tight.

If you do not live at one of the locations listed, that's okay. Most of you don't. They are spread out to be REGIONAL events. Find the closest one to you, and use the five+ months' advance notice we're giving you to find a way to make it there. Further details (such as starting times for the events, etc.) will be posted at a later date.

In the meantime, NONE of these wars are going to need a planning thread, because the dates CAN NOT change. Some, such as Apocalypse, will have one any way, and you can make a corresponding planning thread if you wish, but it will be MUCH easier to keep all questions in this one thread. To post in this thread, include YOUR NAME AND LOCATION. DO NOT POST unless you are able (or planning on being able) to attend. List what war you are coming to, and how many (if any) fellow nerfers are coming with you.

If you have a question about one of the events BE SURE to list the event which you are asking about, and someone will answer your question accordingly.

Alright. PLEASE follow the instructions I have outlined above so that we can know what event you're asking about. If you can answer a question someone else has, please feel free to do so. If it's a question regarding coming to a location not listed, do not bother, the administrators will be asked to remove your post. Specific war location addresses will be listed at a later date to protect those who live at these locations.

This trip is for the entire community, so we need everyone to call in and let us know what's up. Please keep things orderly, so everyone can enjoy doing this together.

Ok. I'm actually pretty sure that Apoc being on a Sunday was A Typo, but I'm not positive. Falcon's been handling all of this stuff independently from the rest of the team because we've been spreading out duties. As far as I know the listed APOC idea is because traditionally Apoc is held on the First Weekend of August (typically the Saturday) but I'm making no promises I can't commit to, that's Falcon's job.

Apoc is traditionally on the first weekend of August. I discussed the plans for what date Apoc will be with the war organizers well in advance. The Apoc date (and all of the wars posted after) were one day off. My bad, it's fixed now.

This is how this is going to work.

We can't schedule every war on a Saturday. That would take twelve weeks. Not feasible.

The list of dates is based off of when we can get to the next location, not when is most convenient for everyone. That's the one unfortonate part of trying to film a cross-country documentary; not everyone will be available, because some things are going to have to land on odd dates.

To appropriately set up a route for the map, WE are hosting all of the events (save Apocalypse) instead of having individual people host the events so that we don't spend months debating about what date works best for everyone, winding up with conflicting events, and such.

Most of the events have been discussed specifically with the person who is most prominently hosting wars in that area. If anyone (such as yourself, F_A24) has been left out of the loop on how this is working, it's simple.

We're setting a date, and you have five month's advance notice so that the maximum number of people can call ahead to get a day off of work. We haven't spoken to everyone about housing yet, so we're working on details in that department, but basically, all you have to do as a host is show up. We've set the dates so you don't have to.

I apologize if the dates are simply not workable for everyone. We can't accomodate 5,000+ schedules. We can only plot our trip according to the time we have to work with, and hope for the best, that you, the community, can find a way to make yourselves available for the date assigned to your nearest location.

I'll be coming to the St. Paul war of course. I nearly jizzed in my pants when I saw St. Paul, MN on the list, even though I already knew you guys were coming here. It should work out well, because the college guys will still be home. I don't care that it's on a Friday either, as long as you guys show up. I do wonder how you guys are going to have all the stefans for all these wars. It would take days of stefan making to make enough.

I could maybe supply housing for you guys. I have a basement that nobody sleeps in, that has a queen bed, and two couches, as well as plenty of floor space. I also have a guest room with two twin beds. My house is about a 20 min. drive to the park we have wars at.

And we wanted to Go to Ohio, thar be many a grand nerfer that hails from there... we just can't double back through there on our current timetable. Hopefully the wars that are fairly Close to Ohio like say the Michigan War, or you can somehow find a way to one of the other Big East coast wars like the ones in NY/Nj perhaps?

I am practically a definate for the Ontario, July 27th was OR the Royal Oak July 26th war. Either or, probaly won't be able to make it to both (unless someone else is driving there that I maybe could get a ride from.
