Hey guys this is just some pics of my nerf recon i modded and painted a while ago. I call it the HellBringer. I did a basic a.r mod but instead of make a hole in the a.r i turned it sideways to give it maximum power. Here is the pic of the a.r job and the paintjob.

How does a sideways peg make it shoot further/harder then no peg? Nice paint job though.

If you're talking about the one down in the barrel, it's to stop the stephan from getting sucked into the plunger tube.

there isnt a peg anymore and because when u make a hole in the a.r its small and not that much airflow but if you turn it sideways it gives it air from both sides and nothing but a small area blocking it. So basically this way u get more air and range to the dart than from drilling a little whole.

Still there is more area blocking airflow than if you completely drilled it out like in this writeup.

There's no point in leaving it sideways, as you're never going to vacuum load with a Recon, just take it out.

if i take it out the dart will get sucked into the plunger

Yep, it's happened to me. I just shot some glue into the hole on the side of the barrel.

Yes he can, but the mod isn't anything everyone hasn't done before, so the only thing new is the paintjob.

I'd like to take this opportunity to propose a moratorium* on pseudo-baddassical, mythology/occult names for nerf guns. Instead, I suggest that we go with...stock characters! That's right. Taking someone out with the Elderly Prospector would be metal as shite.

*FA would be exempt, of course.

I agree with everyone that said this blaster should be in the mod/pj thread. It isn't new; it isn't ground breaking. It is just a sloppy recon. I understand that you are still learning to paint, and that's fine, but it still doesn't deserve it's own topic.

On a side note, use proper grammar and punctuation, and say "you" instead of "u". If you don't want to post coherently, I can always point you out to an admin, and maybe they will take care of you.

What the FUCK is wrong with you people? He posted a topic because he wanted feedback. Even if the mod doesn't deserve a thread, there's absolutely no reason to spam up the thread with a flood of "OMG this goes in the mod/pj thread n00b!" posts.

If a thread is useless or unnecessary, one post will suffice. And that one post would be from a moderator.

Thats the new version of the recon, the one with the plunger tube sleeve.

As for feedback, its an OK Paint job, but I'm pretty sure to get the most "power" out of an AR removal, is to just remove it.
