I can but one or two sharpshooters for around $10.
Is it worth it? I have no experience with them. Modded are they any good? Ranges?

Thanks!

If you took ten seconds to go to the Modifications forum, click on the "Modification Directory" topic at the top of the list, and scrolled down to "Sharpshooter", you'd have your answer.

Forget about ranges; range means nothing if your blaster is a giant rattle after three shots.

I've modded one and have two more that are being worked on. One thing I can say for sure is that different colors have different internals. I got one with a green shell and orange pump grip, and it had a post attached to the air tank, which was annoying. The ones I have with a blue shell, orange grip and green trigger/internals don't have this. If you are feeling ambitious, drill a hole in the airtank, attach a CPVC/PVC cap, and dremel out the shell to fit it, and you have a much better looking Mega Missile.

And here I thought that a SharpShooter is a spring gun...?

This guy doesn't know what he's talking about. The Sharpshooter is a spring gun, and so is the Sharpshooter II.

Okay first off, the one in the mod directory is a sharpshooter II not the original.

And my questions still havent been answered so if any one can, it will be appreciated.

The Sharpshooter 1 mod section is just above the Sharpshooter 2 mod section.

If the Mod Directory fails, you can use the search function. It happens to be on the bottom of the list on every forum. After searching "Sharpshooter", I glanced through the 4 pages of results and found these. It took longer to type this than to find them, actually.

All by good modders. It's actually pretty surprising none of them are in the Directory.

EDIT: I knew they were in the directory! Guess you missed them.

Ranges aren't as important in a pistol as reliability. And the Sharpshooter is a very reliable gun since all it is is a Nite Finder with a better spring and without all the extra gimmicky crap thrown in. The ranges should be good considering the size of the plunger tube and the power of the spring, and it should last a long time. Jump on that deal.
