I've noticed that there is a calencder on the home page, I've also noticed that it realy serves no purpose.
On another forum's site which I'm a admin of, the calender is updated to show up coming events. The site is a forum site for my scouting district, and all members of the district are encouraged to come to these events. The dates are highlighted to show that there is an event that day, when the date is clicked on it opens the the information about the event. So I was thinking that this would be great for this forum, so members can be linked to wars that way. If this isnt being done due to no-one willing to do this, I'd be willing to update the calender.

Oh wow...I never noticed it, I didn't even know it was there.

Now that you say that, it wouldn't be a bad idea (but it'd be a big undertaking).

Proverbs says, "The wise man doth not shoot the Viking in the ding ding for he shall pummel thee."

But you can totally shoot Vacc there, he loves it!

The utility that generates that calendar turned out to not quite be what we were looking for. I'm working on something over at project nerf that would work, but it's not going to end up on the main page unless CXWQ suddenly appears and basically gives me the keys to the kingdom. Until that happens, just use the 2009 Nerf War Schedule.

OMC used to update the calendar for east coast wars to some extent, but I guess he's too busy with school now.

As Langley said, the schedule certainly serves the same purpose as the calendar would, as does the RSS feed for the Wars forum.

Nah, I'm just too fucking lazy. There's a war calendar thread essentially, so I just never really do anything with it.

*Cough* Semi-useful west coast mailing list *Cough*

For the record, I am horrible with days and remembering what day it is. I use the nerfhaven calendar frequently to stay on track. It's kinda like holding up your hands in an L shape to find out which way is right and left.

Damn it Foamfoot. Why is it that you kill every good topic with a retarded response a few days late.

I'll prolly update the calender with links to the Mag-7 wars we throw. Honestly, everyone just checks the war schedule thread now so I'm not sure if it will catch on. If I have time this weekend I'll paruse the 2009 war schedule thread and do the same.

Just link it to the current year's calendar thread for wars.

It's perfect for that purpose...
