They say, "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em." What?!?!?!?!
I say, "Screw that! Give me a bigger gun!"

The last thing we need is a mass gathering of prepubesent boners all over the place

Dart loss is another factor. I lost 3/4 of my darts at HbH, while at massacre, I maybe lost 10 darts total, by ruining them against walls.
Gun factor wasn't an issue, any gun that was allowed at any major war was allowed at both wars.
I enjoy them both, but I like getting out in the fresh air and sunshine and running around. That's just me. Both style of wars are a lot of fun, and I would go to ether without a moment's hesitation.
It's just screaming to be rearloading...
I seen a movie about that once.

Outdoor can be done with modified blasters, and a bunch of people.
Outdoor just seems to be a step above indoor.
If at first you don't succeed, add more epoxy.

All sorts of cover possibilities, climate control, lighting, possibly smoke machines. My cousin's house is often the battlefield for our nerf wars. This is ok, since our unmodded guns find use.
However, I would like to use a warehouse or a Gym some day for a nerf war. Even better, a large house.
One-on-one tires quickly, and 2-2 isn't much better. I like free-for-alls in large, indoor spaces and big team battles.
(I forgot to take a picture of my own poppers)

That being said, nerf blasters tend to be more consistent as well as effective in an indoor setting, this alongside my airsoft experience (playing airsoft indoors) leads me to prefer indoor play.

Hell, since I play with friends and trust them with all my guns and everything, nothing is off limits.
There was once one of my friends stole darts out of somebody else's gun. Hell, I've had the tactical light stolen off of my vulcan, while I was reloading it, so of course the light wasn't on.

What benifits do you get from nerfing indoor and outdoor?
indoor:
-faster paced
-any gun can be used effectively
-It's warmer (WOOT Canada!!!)
-less MIA stefans
-I don't have to aim that much
outdoor
-slower paced for the fat-ass nerfer
-cheaper for public locations
-can have more people attend (indoors has a space issues)
-less danger of broken furniture, mirrors, glass, dents in drywall etc.
That's about it. And thanks Angela who helped me with these pictures.. It looks huge in her hands.

Indoor:
-Engaging in room to room fighting
-Weather is not a problem
-Very fast-paced
-Lighting effects possible
-Stock blasters aren't as handicapped
Outdoor:
-Longer engagement ranges so you don't catch a dart to the face at arm's length
-Somewhat slower pace, more time for planning and downtime
-Allows people to use high-powered blasters safely, as long as they keep a minimum distance
-More room to move around and less stuff to break

I like sneaking around.
I like launching a sudden ambush.
I like hearing people actually gasp or shriek in mild shock when you make your presence known with a puff of air and a chunk of foam.
I like working my way down a hall, checking doorways, clearing rooms, moving up the stairs in pairs, covering one another as you go.
I like knowing that no matter what weapon I select, it will find a use - not be relegated a last-ditch mode due to short range.
