So far, all searching got me was Radio's thread, which didn't help.

Any advice from some vets?
I'm sure this has happened to a bunch of y'all.

Thanks.

Don't you just spray silicone lube down the pinhole? I may be wrong, but I searched and that's what came up..

You want to apply lube to the pin. Then put goop where the pin meets the base.

I've been messing with it, and if I nudge the pin up, the hissing stops.
If I don't hold the pin there, it will leak again.
I'll get pics if anybody really needs it.

Thank god you posted this. My 2K is doing almost the exact same thing. Whenever I slightly depress the trigger, air leaks out the back.

Try pumping it fast and see if it still leaks

That would happen a whole lot less if people hadn't somehow got it into their heads to glue up the spring on the actuating rod. I'm not sure if this applies to you, but any time a blaster has had that spring gummed up (or many of the other "bic pen" type mods) you can no longer afford to even brush against the trigger until you really mean it.

No, I don't do that anymore unless you have to (like on a SM1.5K). I just fixed it though. It turns out that the tank was slightly off center in the shell, causing the pin to be pulled in an odd direction.
