Hello all,
First, I hope that this is of course the proper place to be posting such a topic. Second, I hope that I do not violate any CoC rules or anything of the sort. Finally, I hope that someone finds this to be useful/interesting. As a new member, any criticism is appreciated.

Introducing the microdart bandoleer!
Posted Image

It's not very much of a "mod" but when I play with my friends, I am never short of ammo, and reloading is real quick.
Made from a typical bag strap(adjustable) + nerf vulcan ammo belt (cut off with a hacksaw and trimmed with a metal file so I could pull the darts out) Make sure you trim after you cut or you'll rip up your darts
For more stability I am sure you could glue it on instead of using duct tape

Questions and comments welcome!

Ah I and I am aware of a previous post up of a bandoleer, but I put this up in case anyone was feeling too lazy to really make their own from pipe as this is pretty quick and easy to do

May I direct you to my thread about almost exactly the same subject? I did basically the same thing, but with a guitar strap and CPVC.

Yours looks better than mine did though, at least in my opinion.

Yes I was aware of your post, which is what the last part of my post was referring to, my post is simply to provide a more commercial alternative to the completely home-made bandoleer (since I am not good with my hands... or at least not yet)

and thank you :-)

My little brother made one of these out of duct tape to hold Buzz Bee shells. He attached it to his double shot, it fits them perfectly.

I'm a fan of bandoleers, but I wonder why you did all that work. Wouldn't it just be easier to tape the two ends of the vulcan belt together?

My original idea was actually to get those shotgun shells and tape them on, but then I realized I could get more for my money with the vulcan belt ($8 for 25) versus the shotgun shells ($4 for 5 shells? I don't exactly remember)

Ahh. I didn't notice that part. I am only good with my hands because I break a lot of things, and always end up fixing them.

Well the key is to get an adjustable strap to tape/glue the ammo belt on, since everyone will fit differently, with the strap it fits perfectly and I can move around with no problems at all

Don't tell the ladies at the University of Connecticut this one bud :).

On topic: Clean and efficient. Well done.

Nice mod,

P.S. Your shirt's on backwards. Better not tell the ladies about that one either. What happens on the internet stays on the internet.

the CPVC is cheaper, at the target near me the vulcan ammo belt costed like $7.50, which in my opinion it way overpriced. :D

If he just did that, he wouldn't me able to use it. Without cutting off those parts of the belt, the individual sections would entirely encase the dart, making it extremely difficult, if not impossible to remove the darts from the bandolier with your bare hands, rendering it useless.

I like the idea, but it seems like a waste of a Vulcan belt. My question: would the belt still work in the vulcan after hacking off the front of each section? I know it's not supposed to still work with the vulcan, but you may have accidentally stumbled upon a way to make Vulcan belts more stefan-friendly.

On topic: Bandoleers are very useful in wars. L2Play.

You are a complete repetitive moron. The idea was to make your guns easyto reload, not the bandoleer. You wouldn't be able to choke someone with the way you wear it (around the neck and under the arm.

Is it just me or are you wearing your shirt backwards? The tag is sticking out :D

Anyways, nice mod. I'd like to wear one of these while mowing down people with a Vulcan. :D

ha....reminds me of my own sad attempt at a banolier but slightly more expensive..

By the way add more duct tape so that it is very secure

Mine was made from duct tape and a belt. It didn't stick very well and eventually fell apart.
