Hey guys I was just wondering what guns you use while in a nerf war and if you have them hooked to your body in any way what do you use?
I haven't nerfed lately because its winter and I live in Ohio so its snowy and cold, but once it warms up me and my friends want to get back into it.
I'm thinking of using my magstrike if I can get more mags for it, but if I cant I will probably just use my long shot that has a double clip and the shotgun foregrip for a higher ROF. I will also probably using a Nfinder as a side arm.

So yeah I'm just trying to form some ideas for what I might use.
O and by the way we play in a quite large spot but it has a ton of close range cover objects

I use my PETGed Angel breeched Longshot, with double mag, and as my sidearm I use my LSed NF. I'm currently unloading pictures of the Longshot so you can see more there...

For me, I can't aim for shit, so I use any gun with a Rscb clip on it. mostly an AT2K or my special gun (It's going to be posted by Monday, I hate exams)

I'll play along. I typically use my converted watergun for sharpshooting purposes. However, now that I have my new SNAPbow and LBB, I use those for general purposes. For my sidearm, I have my trusty NF.

My main primary is a PETG'ed SM1500, but I use it less than half the time. I usually don't use a sidearm, but when I do it is an NF or Eliminator.

Once I finish my LS, that'll be my primary with uberBBB as my secondary/ outdoor long-range shooter. I'm very accurate with it. And my friends don't let me use it inside either. I also have my BBBB with scatter cannon/ sharpshooting barrel to scare people. And my sidearm is a plain ol' NF.

I use a Forsaken breech(A variant of the Angel Breech, more on it later) LS with an AR-15 and a BBB spring.

And my secondary is Hellfire. Anyone at LANO or 'Geddon will see it. That is all for now.

Once I finish my uber BBBB mod I will not really need to carry extra guns. I'll post my BBBB when I make it.

xbow, I don't typically use a sidearm. When I do, I use my excessively banded 1st gen NF.

My weapon of choice is the Star Wars Rebel Trooper Blaster. I find it very comfortable and it has good range for a pistol.

I had a great time using my Hand Cannon at the last war I was at, but next time I'll be paring a normal pistol with it. Reloading 3 barrels with gloves takes a while.

I would suggest using just one gun. I don't understand why everyone likes having a sidearm and a primary. It makes more sense just to have one good gun that has high ROF, good range, good acuracy. I've found that longshots, ertl rapid fire shotties, airtech 2ks,3ks, and 4ks, make excellent primaries if you plan on not using a sidearm.

It really depends upon who I'm playing with. Just the kids, around the compound (we call it the compound because we live next door to my sister-in-law and our yards join)? Most of the time a TTG or Night finder. Maybe two. Sometimes the BBB or Magstrike with external air. Adults? PAS and the Wipeout. Or +Bow and L+L if I feel mean. Probably just the Doomsayer when I complete it. I had actually planned on using a Nat-Geo gun with some special mods at PWN, but wasn't able to. I've got too many fricking blasters to make up my mind.

And to stand by this statement, I KNOW I can't aim for shit, so I would usually pull out a gun with a turret or one with a RSCB on it to compensate for my inability to get a first shot kill.

I agree with Draconis, like he said, it depends where your playing and against who you're playing against. But I typically use my LS with my superclips and magstrike and rarely a maverick. I use the Ls because of its great range, accuracy, and decent ROF. The magstrike because its modded and I can pump it to 55 and get 4 clips shot out before having to pump again, but also because its good for clearing rooms and bunkers, Plus it puts out a great ROF. But the hell with side arms you hardly ever need them. I usually have some sort of strap to keep my 2 guns on me and big pockets to keep extra ammo and extra clips.

I use my sawed off buzz bee double shot with modded shells not that good but pretty awesome looking I also use my modded recon and I also use my big blast. Oh and has any one had a match against someone where you had a eliminator (or whatever that little pistol is called) with no ammo and 3 lives (or three shots your out) versus someone who has a 50 dart chain fully working vulcan and 10 lives (or 10 shots your out) and the guy with the pistol (me) WON!

While I think it is a little silly to just post random blaster combinations, I think discussing you war setup does have some merit. Before I went to any wars, I remember looking for threads about what kind of setups people used and I didn't really find much. Here is mine. Pretty straightforward.



My +bow and NF are my go-to guns. I use a drop leg holster for the NF (17/32 brass in PVC) and the stick looking thing is a ramrod connected by one of those retractable ID badge things. I've got a OATN type breech for the +bow. The exposed brass has hockey tape wrapped around it-- The last Ohio war was so cold that I couldn't get a good grip on the brass. The orange tape on the breech was from a night war at school. I know the +bow has little resemblance to a real firearm, but I like to err on the side of caution.
