After the winter Ohio war, I was in deep thought of how I could make a BBB more powerful and less awkward to load, so I have made a breach.

mats:
1/2 pvc
17/32 brass
9/16 brass
hot glue gun
drill bit
screw of your choice
dremmel

Step 1

Grab your 11-12 inches of pvc and 17/32 brass and mark where you want to dremmel your loading area. Do the same with your brass. I made a 1 1/2 hole.

step 2:

do some cutting of where you marked.

step 3:

after you cut your brass and pvc make a hole in your 17/32 brass behind your loading area.

step 4:

cut a path for your bolt, like so, on your pvc.

step 5

put e-tape on each side of a piece of 9/16 brass til it fits perfect and glue it in. Make sure it is flush with the insde of loading area and the bottom of the pvc.

step 6

Then cut the brass while its in the pvc where your original bolt path was.

step 7:

Ok, now push your 17/32 into your 9/16

step 8:

now put your bolt in the hole you drilled into the 17/32 brass.

final product? you decide.

Nice work. As long as it's functional iyt doesn't matter about fugly. Awaiting Late Winter OHNO to see this thing in action and find out just how practical it is.

I like the handle and locking system. My only concern is that it has like 3 in of deadspace that OfAll's design doesn't, as far as I can tell from the design. It might affect your ranges a little, but not too much to notice.

You'll do a lot better if you spread the lips with the front. Trying to wriggle the back in there first seems a bit counterintuitive.

This is my concern as well. Did you consider switching positions on the handle/slide and the actual breech? On a BBBB or other similar air gun, it shouldn't make enough difference to matter, but on a less powerful gun it might help maximize efficiency.

Forget about ranges; range means nothing if your blaster is a giant rattle after three shots.

If I'm getting this right (and I honestly can't tell, sorry but the overexposure and general fuzziness make it hard to get a clear view.. You might want to try out the Macro function, that generally helps), It's not bad. You could have made the cuts cleaner etc, but thats not the point. I know alot of people have been asking me (before I quit) to make breech's with a handle on them. I never did, because in my design, which I made to be the most efficient as possible, I never wanted a handle on the side. It doesn't really make sense for mine to have a handle anyways, with the handle being at the front...

Anyhow, it does seem somewhat inefficient because of the dead space, but if you like it, Just Go With It.
