I decided to single it by removing the turret, putting some 1/2 inch sch. 40 pvc onto it, with a coupler at the end so it can fit into the end of the gun, where the bullets fired out of the turret. There's a little empty chamber there that looks cool, and it turns out that it can house a 1/2 inch pvc coupler perfectly.
I then sealed up the space between the pvc and the oval through which the air flows, and wrapped the barrel in some duct tape for stability. It seems, however, that my stock micros are too tight, such that I need to take the barrel apart to get them out, and my taggers are too loose, such that they won't stat in the gun. It either doesn't fire, or fires a tagger less than 5 feet.
Any help?
Thanks

Find a barrel that fits your darts. Pteg, crayola marker, brass or something along those lines. Nesting some pteg in the cpvc works pretty good. Good luck.
There is a difference between PVC and CPVC. PVC which stands for poly vinyl chloride, and is bigger. CPVC stands for copper size pvc, and is smaller. You cannot fit PETG in 1/2 CPVC. But, you can fit PETG in PVC if you wrap a couple layers of tape on.

It sounds to me like you've got a ton of dead space. Now, if I'm understanding this, you attached a length of PVC across the entire gap where the turret used to be?There's a little empty chamber there that looks cool, and it turns out that it can house a 1/2 inch pvc coupler perfectly.
I then sealed up the space between the pvc and the oval through which the air flows, and wrapped the barrel in some duct tape for stability.
The mav doesn't have enough power to deal with a lot of dead space.
-Choose a barrel material that fits your darts
-Shorten the barrel
-Widen that oval you were talking about to increase air flow
-Don't use duct tape. It makes no seal at all.

CPVC stands for copper size pvc, and is smaller.
This statement is wrong. CPVC does NOT stand for Copper sized PVC. CPVC stands for Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride.
And you have way too much dead space. The dart should be right at the plunger opening for maximum power.

1. Thanks.
2. I'll get some PETG later this weekend, and I'll chop a few inches off the barrel.
3. Yes, the barrel is where the turret used to be.
Just to clarify: I didn't use the duct tape to make the seal; I used it to keep the barrel on, and close to the top of the gun, where it would best line up with the oval. I used hot glue to make the seal, thanks.
