Hey guys, every summer I come back from greece, and I was wondering if it was possible to have a war near DC. I think that we should start planning for the war.

Or just simply host a war. There is no need for it to have any type of designation.
DCNO is a long-standing series of wars that occur about, I believe, 3-4 times a year. You can always arrange to attend one of those as they are in Maryland, not far from DC. If this doesn't work for you, just host your own, but don't use a name. A war doesn't need a name, only players, blasters, a field, and darts.

It's a little early to worry about summer wars yet. March Meltdown hasn't even happened yet. I can promise you there will be some DC area wars this year for sure.

Well Im leaving the 20th of June and have Boyscout Camp( Time to finsh life) so I will be open on the 30th Im guessing.

The tradition in the past has always been to host 2-3 DCNO's, a Spring, Summer and Fall one usually. Like OMC said, it's too early to start planning a date for the Summer DCNO. I can already tell you that there will be another DCNO since the one last Summer was a huge success, but I can't tell you exactly when it will be. Most likely sometime in June or July.

I can't tell you when exactly yet either, but after speaking with Groove about this several months back, I've set the DCNO location as a stop on the season of foam trail a few days after Apoc., if a small group from the area is up for it. So a few days after Apoc, which is the first Saturday of August, there will be one. We just aren't expecting a massive attendance due to tiredness from the day before.

There will be a DCNO in both the spring and the summer of 2009, this you can count on.
However, the more wars the merrier, so host your own also! (Just remember to come to DCNO)
