I'm looking for a decent clear coat or some sort of protective coating so my paint doesn't wear off or scrape off. I used to use a can of dollar store clear glossy spray but it seems like it just made my paint run on some of the other models / Nerf guns I made

I'm also thinking about dabbling in plastic/vinyl dyes and would like to know some tips on applying them and where to buy them.
