Since everyones been posting all their new NF mods lately, i went ahead and finished up mine. This has been done before, but not in this way is im not mistaken. If i am, please feel free to point that out.

Things you'll need:
- 1x Nite Finder
- 1x AT2K (with pump)
- Vinyl replacement tubing
- Handyman Spring (or your personal preference)
- E-Tape
- Silicone Grease
- Goop
- Epoxy (clear weld)
- Hot Glue (& Gun)
- 1/2" CPVC Piping
- 1/2" CPVC Coupler
- Keyring
- Some type of cutters
- Industrial spring (small, for catch plate & trigger)
- Metal Wire (thin guage) or Metal Fishing Line

Tools Needed:
- Screwdrivers, Wire Cutters, all the usual tools of the trade, etc.

I did not take pictures of the NF's internals' modifications. They've been done 1000s of times and they're not hard at all to duplicate from other mods if you really need to see them done.
But anyways, the NF needs to be opened up and the AR's removed. Then attach whatever length of CPVC onto the end of the plunger tube you see fit with the epoxy. Then, replace the NF spring with whichever one you chose. The plunger head needs to be wrapped in E-Tape for about one layer UNDERNEATH the O ring. Lube the head up with silicone grease and the plunger tube and the mods to the NF's internals are done.

Now for the 2K integration. For this you'll need to take out the NF's light and all wires leading to it and whatnot.
Also, you'll need to cut out the two screw holes which held the light in place. As well as any other screw holes in the area that the light was housed in. Like so, but not completed or sanded down yet:

Get the other half of the shell too.
Posted Image

Sand everything down in there so the 2K air tank could fit inside it. And as for the tank, cut off the protrusion where the barrel would go to increase air output.
Posted Image

The spaces where the batteries would've been put need to be cut out. At least until it has enough space to fit a 2K pump.

I cut two holes in the base half of the shell for the tubing like so:

Should fit like this:

To fit the pump in the handle of the NF was a main objective of this mod as opposed to just hot glueing it somewhere on the gun. To do this, I had to cut it down a bit. Going for class & cleanness as opposed to functionality i suppose you could say, but trust me, it works fine.
Anyways, like so. Be sure to measure twice, cut once:
Posted Image

And.. you guessed it! A new pump shaft must be made. Measure, measure, then cut with PVC cutters i find works best.
Posted Image

You know the bottom of the NF handle which is oh-so-often tossed away to make access easy for the ammo holders in the handle? Well we're gonna use it. Start by taking off every little bit of crap from the inside of it.
Posted Image

Then take a marker and trace whatever shape the shaft is. The 2K's is an x shape.
Posted Image

I used PVC cutters to then cut out that shape.
Posted Image

Then fit the shaft through it and epoxy the head on the end.
Posted Image

Everything should look like so once its all placed in. BTW, hot glue the air tank in the shell where all the room was made.
Posted Image

I epoxied a CPVC coupler onto the tank too. And as for the trigger for the tank, cut another hole in the non-base half of the shell in the center of the front of the trigger guard, just take some metal wire or fishing line and attach it to the trigger rod (bend it if you want like i did) and then attach it to a keyring. It should just fit in the trigger guard of the NF if it goes in slightly sideways. So that means they can both be fired in unison should you choose.

And there you have it.

Ranges-
NF: 50-60ft
AT2K: 50-70ft

In case anyones wondering, this is the pump stroke length:

Great job!

I love the cleanliness. I just did this by putting a 3k in a lightgun shell, but with a SMDTG pump, as it was all I had that fit... If I could get my hands on a 2k, my faith in my NiteFinder might be renewed!

I get all giddy when I see VACC browsing a stupid topic. I just know someone is going to get banned.

I might just have to do this with my 3K... and I probably should have done it this way on the GNBK.

And I heard that aswell. My dad said he almost cried...

That is very inventive. I have seen this done before but never this clean, give that son of a bitch a paint job and you got a near perfect sidearm.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

20-30 (quick fast pumps) will get you the ranges i posted. Also i'd say maybe 10-15 slow pumps will get hose ranges. And its not as bad as it sounds when you consider the stroke length, trust me.

It's times like this when I thank god for being capable to get A2K's.Very clean and what I was hoping for when I read the title.
I'm just the scitzophrenic clusterfuck of randomness that is me.

I've only ever gotten one of them. Its hard for me to find any pump/air chamber type gun.
And thanks. :)

Oh, and before i forget.
To help reduce the force of impact with the NF's plunger rod, i took a cloth mousepad (with the cloth-like material on top, rubber on bottom) and cut a 1/2" wide piece and whatever length so that it completely wraps around the diameter of the tube, and put it at the end of the inside of the plunger tube.
The way i did it, i put the rubber side facing outward and the cloth inward, and it fits wonderfully. It does its job quite nicely.
Posted Image

They're easy to find (i have probably hundreds), easy to cut, and easy to integrate into the tube. Might be a more easy to find/get alternative to sponge gaskets or more effective than craft foam, but its up to you. This can be done to virtually any springer.

It is, but not by much. I'll get around to straightening it when i feel like opening it up again. But for now, its fine.

Simply beautiful! This is one of the cleanest integrations I have seen before.
Good work!
