"ah man, I would give you so much for one of those NIB crossbows or one of those crossbows on the floor. The ones on ebay have gone up to $59 and the shipping alone is $12." -Rip32

I usually use a dremel with a cutting wheel to cut it.
What cutting wheel are you using? If it is a wood/plastic, tile, anything other than a thincut metal wheel, you WILL have these problems. If it is, then the brass may be bad. Get it from Hobby People, they have wonderful brass.

It's thincut metal, and I believe diamond tipped... I get my brass from ACE, mostly.I usually use a dremel with a cutting wheel to cut it.

Use a reinforced without the diamond tips. It will help. And while you're at it, get your brass from a hobby shop. It's thincut metal, and I believe diamond tipped... I get my brass from ACE, mostly.I usually use a dremel with a cutting wheel to cut it.

I used a standard non-reinforced and it cut fine. By the time I was done with the breech, the wheel was the size of a mini-marshmallow though.I usually use a dremel with a cutting wheel to cut it.
