I have been in BMX for a while now. Just wondering who else likes it. I can grind. Bunny hop like 3 feet. I can also do some sick jumps. I like to do street. We have got a lot of walls that are good for jumping. Also grinding its a nice sport. Just wondering your input on this sport?? <_<

Oh yay, one of my most un-liked member rides the two wheels. I used to BMX, but then I got into 24" and now I race DH and am ranked 3rd in my age group in Ontario. I can bar-spin, superman, NFC etc.(all the kinda hard stuf, I pay more attention to style than anything else). Just a few months untill the season starts again! I can't wait.

EDIT: I slightly less dis-like you know, but ever so slightly.

I don't BMX myself, but I do skateboard, and I often find myself amongst BMX'ers. I think BMX is really cool. I have a BMX bike, but I never really got into it much. When I ride my bike to the skatepark, sometimes I ride around a little bit, but I can't do any tricks other than catching some air, which doesn't really cound as a trick anyways :/

Straight racing for me. I'm a member of the NBL, currently 16 novice. I've never been the best at it, but its still fun anyway. I don't really ever do tricks and stuff, that doesn't interest me.

EDIT: Bike is a 06'? Redline Proline Pro.

I did then I kind of just toned it down now(ha cause I got bigger and got scared I'd crack my frame/bike). I just like to jump, like dirt jump , but nothing serious. I have a 07 Whip. I forgot the brand of it, that's the model. What bike do you have?

I don't BMX but I Downhill, freeride, Dirt Jump and 4X.

I ride a 2006 Kona Stab deluxe (8 inches suspensiont travel front and rear):
Marzochi 888 Bombers
Fox DHX3
Hayes HFX 9
Truvatic Boxguide+bashring
Sunrims
Shimano running gear
Heavy as can be (20kg) but stable, flies very nicely and tough as hell. Has had all kinds of abuse thrown at it and I am yet to break anything.

Rokor, what are you riding?

I have a set of Dirt jumps I built and maintain out in the bush. Table tops, berms, doubles, pumps, stepdowns etc. About 20 features in total, all of which are a heap of fun.

Kind of frustrating but the BMX culture near me has attracted some right wankers. Not throwing down a stereotype, but all the times I have found our jumps vandalised or damaged it has been BMXer's. Found out either by talking to them when I got there, not mentioning they were my jumps or actually caught them in the act. They then have the arrogance to complain that stuff at the jumps isn't perfect or needs maintaining.

Have any of the BMXer's here ridden 4X? Same idea is BMX racing but the track has a greater elevation change, has more lines/overtaking opportunities and only has 4 racers instead of 8. It is ridden on 26" wheels, usually hardtail or short travel duelly.

My friend is like number 2 or 3 in state for his age. He's pretty sick at BMX, not gonna lie.

I just started BMXing this past July. I have an '08 DK step up, with a replaced 28T sprocket. I'm starting more into flatland as 1ft. of snow is preveting me from getting outside.

I can manual, bunny-hop about 1ft. 1/4, nose manual for a wee-bit, bar-spin, almost a 180 I've gotton around 120-130ish, tailwip. Not much yet.

I lubed it again and again, I don't see what an extra 2 centimeters does. I don't think I will cut it off.
