So my school has a club that does things like HvZ and Assassins. Normally, it's all good. We run around Penn State with Nerf guns, garnering looks of confusion from 95% of the students. Fun, right?

A few days ago, some new member asks if he can use a singled Titan in HvZ. I, apparently being the only member of the club that spends any amount of time on NIC message boards or forums, immediately say no. Other people are quick to say "Let's test it out" and "we've allowed modded BBB." Most of the time during HvZ, if you need to shoot someone, they are within spitting distance to you. A Titan at that range seems like a disaster, lawsuit, and assault case waiting to happen. Am I the only sane person with a Nerf gun left in State College?

There's no way in hell I'd let a Titan (or a BBBB, for that matter) see play in a HVZ game. I f anyone protests, just direct them to Angel's video--in which the fella taking the hit from a Titan is injured rather spectacularly. Anyone who doesn't have enough sense to recognize that these would be extremely bad for HVZ is not the kind of person I'd be comfortable with sharing the game with.

Have a demonstration. Use a Titan to blow a hole in whatever large, solid object you'd like to bring along (A full, unopened soda can would be impressive and very messy). Then, ask for volunteers to get shot next.

BBB not BBBB. I am still trying to wrap my mind around the Titan/Big Bad Bow comparison. The way some people's minds run..................frightening.

Tell the guy who wants to use a modded Titan to spit as far as he can manage, then have someone shoot him from that distance. If he still can deny his ethics enough to use the gun, then he's good to go.

I was just saying that while Titans should be right out, even BBBBs (which are commonly used at nerf wars) are inappropriate for HvZ. Anyone who thinks that getting hit by a BBB is comparable to being hit by a titan needs much education. BBBs should be fine--not effective alone, but safe. I plan on using my SNAPbow for HvZ--with a RSCB clip to tone down the range and up the ROF.

Meh, he'll be out pretty soon if he uses a singled titan in a HvZ game. It would be like using a loser rifle to play through "Cortana".

Edit: Love the filter.

Damn it Foamfoot. Why is it that you kill every good topic with a retarded response a few days late.

RSBC clips BARELY kill range at all. I wouldn't participate in HvZ with a Snapbow RSBC'd. At massacre 2 K9 was using a pump shotty with a RSBC, and it shot at least 60ft, with no spring replacement or internal modification. It hurt, it's ROF was insane.
Anyway, Eddie, shoot this jerk in the arm with a titan at close range, and he will NEVER want to touch the thing again.

^Meh. The beauty of the system is that you can adjust the amount of dead space you have until the gun shoots more or less the distance you want. Since I'm wanting RoF, I'll be going for a long clip, not so much for the range. Plus, we'll be playing exclusively outdoors, with a relatively small group, so a few (relatively) longer-ranged guns will be nice.
