Could a firefly sustain a handyman or NF spring? If not, what modifications would I have to make to the gun for it to handle the stronger spring?

And besides that and a petg barrel mod, is there anything else I can do to acheive the greatest distance possible?

you can get 40ft from a stock spring.... what are your expectations from a modification?

you have to reinforce the plunger tube to hold a stronger spring.... no a handyman or nf spring will not fit.

Don.

An NF stock spring does fit, barely. It actually lessens range though, because when the spring compresses and throws itself out to the side, and when you shoot it scrapes the side of the PT, slowing down the plunger and wearing down your PT.

So is there anything I can do to get 60'-70' out of it?

Add a LSFG spring and rebarrel it.

I wouldn't really try to get 60'-70' out of a firefly. They suck and there is no real way to make it better. But if that is all you have then you would have to do a lot of mods. Like reinforcing the plunger tube and taking out the ars. Maybe even more.
