when i pump my sm5k, the air proceeds straight to the barrel. Is this a trigger issue or a leak?

Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

Apologies
i don't hear anything as i pump it, and with a dart loaded, a single pump launches the dart out at humorous ranges.

Be more descriptive. Does it slowly leak out, or do you not hear anything like if you pumped while the valve was open?

It is most likely the firing pin not being straight. For my LS/AT3K integartion I had this problem but it was solved by simply moving the firing pink around a bit.

It's will, I'm talking to you on facebook right now. I love technology.

Fix it yet?

I'm not to familiar with the SM5K but their could be something blocking the trigger's movement or the pin could be stuck. Try rinsing out the tank and move the pin around for a bit.

Going to have to second that. It sounds like the problem is the valve, so centering the pin or getting out any crap should solve your problem. You may also want to try some lubricant as the rubber piece that makes the seal could be dried out; That sometimes happens with older guns.

yeah, I had the same problem with mine too, I think.
the air would go right through and it wouldn't pump past like 2 pumps pressure...the trigger was weird...
I fixed it by finding out the air tank rubber stopper thing attatched to the trigger fell offso i had to take apart the tank and fix it...then it just fell off again, so make sure to use a really strong glue...it's about 30 minutes with a mini saw, but I'd say it's worth it to fix it. but you might want to be sure before you saw open the tank!
(the rubber thing looks like a rubber washer by the way)

and just wondering (how) did you mod it?

You could always solve the problem by trading it to me.

Timmytown: Thank you for taking care of that idiot VACC, fine fine work. (no pic)
VACC: Are you fucking retarded? Goodbye.

How's that for funny Timmytown?
It's like VACC was up early wishing me a happy birthday!
