24" is way too long blue ice unless u have some mondo big airtank. Nerf guns usually are in the 4-12" range. This is because once your dart reaches a certain point in a barrel that is too long, the dart creates a suction as it tries to get out of the barrel (unless you port). Still, barrel length depends a lot on how fast your valve releases and how much air tank volume you have.

I dont know the valve yet, but it will either be a solinoid or a hose nozzle.

Does anyone know if there is some kind of PVC or CPVC that 1/2 inch CPVC will fint in rather well?

Christ, as long as you have someone to hate, I suppose you're all happy.. but that one I guess..

Onto the original problem. Clips, are really simple. And I'm using the word clip, so don't even bother. I made one a while ago with cpvc, lexan/plexiglass, and pop rivets as the frame, and just 2 springs, more cpvc and some aluminum rods to give it it's guts. However, the thing only forces out 4 bloody rounds. And I REALLY don't want to go heat up my forge to anneal and temper and do all that other crap to a spring for no good reason. That is.. for stretching. As for the cpvc into something, you can drill out pvc with a 5/8s bit, and that will work.

But what should I do? Raid the staplegun
They have great springs! It's their shape that probably helps. They are the only springs that I can find that are used to feed a magazine... clip.. too late. However, they're expensive. But just incase anyone has found an alternative, a good alternative, then be sure to post it here.

As for anagrams, with.. puncuation! maybe it's a bad idea.

may not make any difference anymore but I made a sprung clip a while ago. There is a thread on NerfHQ about it here with some pictures:

http://www.nerfhq.co...opic.php?t=2976

It is made of PVC and balsa. The spring is the key though. It is a linear acting coil spring. It is just like the ones used in store fixtures to push the products forward. The nice thing is that it has a constant spring stiffness and can stretch out to about 14". This allows for a capacity of about 12 rounds. The clip I made only holds about 7 of my shells because I dodn't want it too long.

Hmmmmm......i`ve gotten tha question a few times. I really don`t know. I guess I would actually have to be put in that situation to be able to give you a realistic answer. I would have to take into account the amount of time I put into it...and also the amount of props I get by people who come over and see it. I don`t think I could part with it for any less than around $150. Of course it may be different if someone actually made me an offer....

People don`t like me using it but I do it anyway. And yes, the scope is highly effective.
