Hello everyone,
Following the completion of the Phoenix, I was craving a bit less complicated mod, and when I found an Airtech3000 double pack at walmart, I just started working. If you can put a CPVC coupler on a NF and remove the ARs, you can do this. This is one of the simplest mods I have ever seen.
Materials:
-Hacksaw
-6 Roseart Markers
-Hot glue
-Spray Paint of choice
Step one, cut off stock barrels at the oh so visible seam.
Step two, Make sure that the AR and spring is removed.
A side note - If you intend to add your own barrels you own way, then skip this step. If you intend to add crayola barrels with premium stability, then do this step.
Step Three, take a flathead screwdriver (preferably a large one) and pry out these plastic pieces.
In top barrel,
Removed from barrel.
Step Four, take six crayola barrels and trim them to allow darts to fit inside.
Step Five, Hot glue barrels in place.
I figured that randomly colored barrels wouldn't look too good, and that it would need a good paintjob to be worthy of the name "The Tigershark". Since I already like the stock color scheme, I just decided to add to it.
I haven't even opened it up yet; that is how easy the mod is. It gets decent 50s flat. I will plug the pump in the future, and with actual barrels, it will get incredible ranges.

A computer once beat me at chess, but after that it was no match for me at kick boxing.

Nice, kinda like Cx's 3K mod, but with markers instead.

This also works with the airtech 2000, right?
(Sorry for nooby question)
Sort of. In a week I'm gonna post a 2K write up that is gonna be the new standard for 2K modification. All I can say is that people are going to be able to expect SM1.5K ranges from their 2K's once the write up is up. And no it doesn't involve a tank expansion. Note though, that most of the ideas for the mods are imaseoulman's. I mainly just executed.
So in short, just wait a bit if you wanna know how to doozy up a 2K.

The paint job looks like you stole a shirt from old navy with one of those ink tag anti-theft devices still on it and then tried to take it off the shirt without the thing they use to do that behind the register, so it just splattered all over your hands and the front of the at3k. That might have been the longest sentence I've ever posted.
I hate you.

That is OMC, other than your PETG thread.
I would just hack off the stock barrels and replace them with brass or PETG.
Simple, functional. The way I like it. Nice mod

Thats the way I do it. Use a rag with some light fast rubbing.
Sometimes I hate my uncontrollable imagination....

Thanks guys!!
OMC: I was kinda going for the fade effect but that also accurately describes it. Oh and, I am honored to have the longest sentence you have ever posted in my thread.
Betrayal: I use crayola as a general term, almost like kleenex. That is actually that way Mr. Badwrench describes it; I couldn't really find another example.
XaMMaX: You can't really get them out, just use Roseart markers. Unless of course you have insanely long and thin plyers.
