Warning: Your glasses will fog up.
Keep your spare Nerf gear under a tarp so snow doesn't get into it.
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

don't us hot glue as your only sealant, it will come off.
Some plastics becomes brittle, so be careful wehre you leave them.
I also think that you have more fun when there's snow outside, no idea how, but compared to my local summer wars, the winter wars always amuse me more.

Only problematic if you're nerfing in temperatures below -30FOh and is it safe to springers?

Don't use pvc or cpvc barrels, they'll break. Don't over pressurize guns in the winter, the parts can snap (I broke a couple of pumps from this).
Suggestions: Wear gloves, my fingers went numb the other day from not wearing them. Use brass or PETG for barrels. Don't get snow in guns. Don't leave your guns out side for over 45 minutes (switch back and forth between guns). Don't let your darts get to wet (they'll shrink). Use tighter barrels and/or wider darts.

Warnings: PVC will shatter if left out side and then pressurized. Darts will shrink.

I recommend CPVC for airguns and something even tighter for springers. CPVC will not shatter, onless you felt the need to whip it at something, and even then it would have to be freezing for anything to happen.

Your fingertips still get cold that way. I would find a tight fitting glove like driving gloves or what I use, BMX gloves. With those, I can get a stefan out of my pocket and into my flip breach almost as fast as without gloves.Put on more layers of clothing than you think you need. You can always take layers off. Convertible mittens will keep your hands warm without hampering your ability to operate your blaster.

Yes. Yes, indeed. Wearing ear muffs or a hood is definitely recommended. I hear being shot in the ear isn't pleasant.Expect decreased ranges and an increase of pain on exposed faced shots.

Also: Ranges. Will. Suck. Ass.
Finally: Hands. Will. Freeze.
I feel at this point: /thread

Fuck Yeah for MN. Yeah, don't use hot glue. It will break. Even in about 40 degrees it will still be brittle.Only problematic if you're nerfing in temperatures below -30FOh and is it safe to springers?

Most Nerf plastic guns become really brittle, but PVC just kinda gets cold...

The hell of it is, we actually get weather like that in Minnesota, and are crazy enough to go out and nerf in it.Only problematic if you're nerfing in temperatures below -30F
Busta: what do you use for adhesives instead of hot glue? I use a combination of epoxy and hot glue in my guns, and all of them held together very well at the last war. The temperature was around freezing then.

1) as OMC said, keep the foam inside until the war STARTS, the stuff shrinks like a frightened turtle when it is cold.
2) use brass barrels, just don't try to lick the snow off. My cousin knows this for a fact.
3)make matchstick stefans, or use epoxy for the heads.
