Damn it Foamfoot. Why is it that you kill every good topic with a retarded response a few days late.

why finger skateboard, when you could actually skateboard?
Maybe because he doesn't enjoy actual skateboarding. I love mil-sim airsoft but don't want to join the military. Is that a crime?
The only time that kind of thinking is valid, is when referring to people who spend all their time playing guitar hero until they get ridiculously good at it. Play real guitar.

So that only applies to guitar hero and not say... Halo or CoD? Heck, am I the only one who actually wants to be the person in the game I am playing? Hell if I die, I wanna be the main character from Bioshock. Plasmids? Guns? A fuckin beast wrench?why finger skateboard, when you could actually skateboard?

I think the same logic could be applied to more than just guitar hero. Like if you are good at nerfing you might want to try airsoft. And if you are good at airsoft, you might want to try shooting a real gun? And guitar hero is nothing like real guitar. I would know.why finger skateboard, when you could actually skateboard?

I know, i was just making a joke off it. Sorry if it didn't seem like it.You both completely misinterpreted what I said. I meant BASHING someone about doing a more or less "fake" version of the real thing shouldn't be done. That's why I quoted Drew with his "go do real skateboarding" comment.

When New England weather doesn't suck, I'm out there skating. But I still fingerboarding from time to time.

No shit Sherlock. My point was that spending that much time on a simulated guitar is ridiculous and more time should be spent on learning the actual thing. That's why this is one of those rare occurrences where it's okay to be an asshole to someone about them doing the "fake" version of a real thing.
Also, in your little line up you said that people might want to move onto airsoft from nerf. I actually started airsofting before I started nerfing. The main problems I have with airsoft are these:
1) Guns that will actually still hurt through all of the wussy sweaters and camo outfits that airsofters tend to wear cost way too much money.
2) This is kinda a result of number 1... People always wear a ridiclous amount of padding when airsofting. Sure it hurts less but that also ruin the fun of it. You'd be suprised how much peoples' tactics on the field will change if they know that the enemies can't inflict physical pain onto them. It makes people too daring, and ends up being real life halo (in other words little to no tactics are used that would prrove useful in a real military situation). When I airsoft, I don't play unless everone agrees to be wearing a T-shirt and thin pants or shorts. It drive the fun level up a ton.
Busta: I reread your post and get it now. lulz
