I was searching around the E-Web when I came across this...



When I searched I only came across Jerm's find of the Assault rifle that the commander uses, and a some guy that wanted to turn a Magstrike into a Plasma rifle. I couldn't find a price but when I go to Toys-be-you tonight, I'll check it out and if it's anything near what I hope it will be, then I'll have an integration that will take up the rest of my week.

P.S. Please don't say that it's not really out and such, because I found a few sites like Amazon and Target that cary them.

You're going to turn one of those into a nerf gun? Have fun, they're choc-full of electronics that you're going to have to remove. It'll probably be a pain in the ass.

I agree with captain. They sell them at a KB toys near me and they are made for lazer tag so there must be a ton of electric components.

Last I saw those guns being sold it was during Halo 3 launch a year ago... the Plasma Rifle was about $120 dollars...

I don't think that's worth it just for a shell change, yeah?

At the Halo 3 debut, a lot of Halo three shit was hella-expensive.

However, over a year later, the price should have fallen considerably because of the lack of demand.

On a side note, has anyone ever been able to integrate a magstrike and maintain the clip as in keeping it clip fed?


EDIT: It might be easy if you took the plasma gun and cut it up, then you could glue/bolt the peaces over a magstrike.

Honestly, I just spent nearly $200 on my current LS, so price isn't really an issue.

I just came back from Zellers. They have a set of plasma pistols for $34.99, and I saw the plasma rifle for 44.99(but not as detailed as the picture) and it came with a plasma pistol. I didn't bother buying either because as I said before, I just dropped a shit tonne on one blaster.

Well, you can cut the top to make room for the clip's path...

Edit: Since there is nearly nothing between the top and the bottom of the gun, the sides sorrounding the clip (on the MS) would be in plain view, detracting from the replication...

I don't plan on making this any time soon, it's here to show others that they can have a working halo replica Nerf blaster with a bit of work. Think before you speak...

If it hasn't been clear from me closing all these threads, I expect more from this community. We're trying to make the site more accessible, but not at the cost of bad content and pointless conversations. You are a Nerf Haven member and as that you are expected to be an elite nerfer. If you do not feel that you deserve this title, I suggest you question anything you post and work on your skills.

Heh, I think if we required that members be elite nerfers, we'd be pretty lonely. Nerf isn't so much about winning as it is about getting out with your friends and shooting each other for fun. Now, I find winning to be much more fun than losing, but that isn't to say that we require any kind of skill to participate. If that were the case, than who would ice have to talk to here?
