Hey guys I saw a commercial on TV or Fallout 3. I thought i could make this from a disc shot or a NF.









Please lay out som guidelines for me.

But you see, back in my day we didn't have all these fancy switch shots so we had to make our guns out of other guns you see? Plus, Mav's are just more comfy.

And I will have you know that I haven't spray painted in about 3 months, and I use a respirator when I mix epoxy and sand it aswell. So yeah, can't even say that about me.

Use a crossfire, paint it black, sell it on ebay for a lot more money than its worth.

That is the 10mm pistol from Fallout 3 (IT ROCKS!(The game)) and I have played the game for a while and from my opinion you should use a crossfire like nerfer9 suggested. Although I would advise you not to totally cut off the ammo holders just to cut them on the sides until they are parallel to the side of the gun, and then paint it silver. The gun in the game is actually silver in sunlight, but you can paint it black if you wish, but for realism from the game use silver.

EDIT: MercenaryXero your right, but I am used to say 9mm because that is the standard pistol nowadays not the 10mm. IT IS THE 10MM PISTOL.

Shit, I'm playing fallout right now on my other monitor. If you want accuracy, use a mav and remove the rounded bits, then add walls to the front. But for performance, I'd use a disk shot with cosmetic mods.

Also its the 10mm nor the 9mm.

Dude use a crossfire. Take off the dart holders. Maybe some work with a dermal. Paint it black and sell it on eBay... Get more money then its worth...

I wasn't talking to you, was talking to american retard here. I have no doubt about you knowing what you are doing. Plus with the comfy part isn't relevent. Hes making a replica, not a primary, or secondary for that matter.

DEFINITELY use the Switch Shot. It would look SO much more realistic than the Maverick.

I would have chopped the handle off of a cheap air soft pistol, the gun looks a little less futuristic and more present day.

Why hasn't anyone pointed out it looks like a DEagle? The slide is exactly like a DEagle...I would go to China Town, buy a shitty DEagle airsoft gun, and cosmetically modify it to look like this. I wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't make it almost dead on to the one in fallout three.

That is so cool. Now I have something to do with my busted mav.

On topic: When I was playing Fallout 3 for the first time I actally thought it was a maverick replica. And anyway if your going to replicate a gun from Fallout 3, replicate a gun that is actually good, like the lincoln repeater. The 10mm pistol sucks. Hard.
