Use a screwdriver and get in it, and pry it off. I used a dremel to cut it off, and if you use a dremel, make sure u don't damage anything else (like the pump shaft)

Yeah, I think you can just pop it off. The only reason it's there is to help hold the gun together, so don't worry if you break it. Like xedice said though, try not to damage the pump shaft.

No, when your done modding, glue it back on, otherwise the gun looks like crap. To get mine off, I just took some heavy duty plyers and pryed it off.

Just stick a utility knife's blade in the gap between the cap and the case. Cut and pry, and it will come right off. Keep it to use once your done modding the gun.

I tried wiggling it off and ended up forcing it so it cracked. I put it back together and it stays in place though it's just ornamental now.

The screw may be stripped, in which case, your best or maybe only option would be to drill through the screw.

I put a flashlight to it and the screw head was like screwed so should I just put a drill in that?

Take a drill bit slightly smaller than the screw head, drill into it until you hear a pop. The screw head should be stuck on the drill bit, take that off, and your 'goo thing' will be free.

Do you mean the screw was screwed in all the way, or that the screw was screwed, as in messed up? :P

I think he meant screwed as in messed up. By the way, nice pun there...

Usually if I encounter a stripped screw I either use one size bigger a screwdriver (works sometimes), or a flat-headed screwdriver (also works sometimes). Good luck with that.

It was screwed in all the way but the head was messed so that my screw driver would just turn around inside it.

The Drill worked perfectly, thanks a lot :D

Edit: Now theres a leak I cant find because when I pump the goo goes up and the comes back down :P

Yeah, this happened with my AT3K. You have to pump it as fast as you can for about three pumps, and then it will seal itself. I also pulled the trigger all the way down and released it before pumping, and for some unknown reason, it helped.

How does holding down the trigger while you pump stop a leak? When I pump my AT2K with the trigger pulled, it doesn't pump the gun up at all. Are you guy's talking about something different?

I think they mean pull the trigger and release it before pumping. I think they are just repositioning the valve in the airtank, cuz thats prolly where its leaking. It would be better if u lubed the bevelled rubber piece, that would probably stop the leak

Alright, sorry for bringing up an old topic, but I found it useless to make a new topic about the same thing. This damn plunger cap is pissing me right off. I've tried about everything. The hacksaw does absolutely nothing, whenever I try to pry it off a piece of the plastic just goes flying, and it's too hard to just pull off. Any ideas?

Get your hands on a dremel, you can cut the cap right where the gun splits in 2 and thus avoid needing to take off the cap whatsoever.

Alright, but I don't exactly have a dremel. I solved the problem by removing the cap in the most violent way I could think of. I cut off the top part with a hacksaw, then jammed a screwdriver down it and wedged it off. It's now in about 5 pieces. Thanks anyways.
