I was trying to do a write up on the modifications forum i had all the pictures ready and everything but when i tried to post the picture it said i had to do the URL so i typed the URL in and what did it do.. nothing. Can anyone tell me how to post pictures because im kind of new to nerfhaven. Ive been moding for a year but i only started nerfhaven 2 monthes ago. thanks, colonel_mcscurvey

Being new to the forum isn't an excuse, not knowing forum BB code is.

It appears that you know how to upload a picture to the internet, that's good. After you copy the image's location (it will usually end in .gif or .jpeg) you can paste it into a forum text box between the appropriate tags:



There's also a little green box (it's got a tree in it) above the input box here. All you have to do there is click the box and put the url there, it covers the image tags for you.

It's really not that difficult.

I really don't understand how I'm backseat moderating... If it was up to me Id ban him right away for not following the rules. All I am saying is that if somone is too lazy to hit a god damn shift key, and search, then why should we work for them?

The pictures are all in Photobucket i pasted the URL in and then i hit preview post and it said:following errors found and then beneath that it said: Sorry the dynamic pages in the [IMG] tags are not allowed. I dont get it.

The address used has to end in a file type extension (.jpg .gif .png)

I know and the picture does have the .jpg at the end but when i paste the URL in that little box it automatically gives it the IMG thing.

Photobucket is awesome. All you have to do is view your album, and under each picture are 4 codes. Copy the code labeled img and just paste it on your post. No tree button required.


Edit: You have to move your mouse over the picture you want to see the codes
