i am thinkin of makin a loser out of a super soaker. i was wonderin wat <a href="http://www.ntsearch....=55">people</a> think of this. to those that have done it before.... wat are they like... range accuracy ect. and wat is the best type to use????? thanx fellas

Ummm... You know, I want to help you, but... I have no fucking clue what you are talking about. Integrations are evil contraptions that are created by sticking a gun (or in some cases part of a gun) onto or into another gun to help you (god knows how.)

1.) Super-Soaker -> Nerf loser is not that practical. Its cool when you go shoot soda cans and trees, but when you convert them, it takes a lot of pumps to get the pressure u need, cuz such a big airtank. Range and accuracy is great, rate of fire is extremely slow. I suppose you could decrease air tank size or integrate it, which is your next question...

2.) Integrations are combining multiple guns into one gun. The advantage? Higher rate of fire usually. Say you made a loser gun out of your super soaker. You have one shot, and after that you are screwed for about 3 mins while u pump it back up. Well suppose you attach two SM750s on your gun. Now, you if you miss with your super soaker shot, you have 2 more shots just in case you need them in a hurry.

Converting a Super Soaker is a terrible idea. The only real good ones would be XP 105s, 150s, 100s because they don't take too many pumps to pressurize. If you ever get one of those, take off one of the pressure tanks and fill in the hole with epoxy or something, so it will take half the pumps as before, depending on which one you do, it could get it down to 4 or 5 pumps. After that, you may want to do a check valve freeze, the SS equivilant to release valve plugging.

i know this is a really old post but i 've got some experience with waterguns, and i just found this site yesterday so i would like to say what i would have said a few months ago if i know about it. i made a kind of a loser rifle out of a super soaker 275 i think it was. the only thing i did was cut off part of the hose thing so that it was just a big gapping hole that would let all the air out really quickly. i just stuck a plastic barrel on that could shoot paintballs and that was my rifle. with 30 pumps it could shoot a paintball at 400fps and about 300'. with about 10-15 pumps though it would probably work better for foam balls and darts. unfortunatly i overfilled it once and it broke but for the time i had it, it shot pretty well.

Since most Super Soakers require so many pumps to fire a single shot, I think that you would be better off building a homemade Nerf gun. They usually require fewer pumps, and are more useful in a Nerf war.

If you reduce the size of the air tanks, by cutting it off and filling the hole with epoxy for example, you can get down to quite and effecient gun. And if you cut all the other useless crap off you can break it down into quite a small piece. Mine is good to go after maybe 6 pumps now. However, with the lower air volume it wont be quite as powerfull anymore as with the huge air tanks and you pumping it all the way. Also keep in mind that the supersoaker valves are designed for shooting water not air and dont always seal perfectly. But I think it is a much more viable idea then a lot of people say it is.
