Take the guts out of the gun, and make a case to fit it. Then use the belt and connect it to make a circle use like some strong velcro. Make a container to keep the chain smooth and allowing it to rotate into the gun. After the shot is discharged the belt just feeds through so you no longer need to deal with the belt on the ground and tripping on it. Plus you can just hook another box up and velcro the strips together and your ready to rock. Any ideas on how to do this/has it been done? I've checked around but I did not see anything like it.

As long as we got splitlip saying what if?
Would it be possible to glue barrels directly to the rotation mech on a vulcan and make it into a "minigun" ?? with rear loading it should be quite effective.
Yes, though unlike, say, the Doomsayer, there are only six points in the rotation. So you would only have six shots before you have to completely reload. At that point, you would be better off with a magstrike. It would LOOK awesome, but wouldn't really perform all that well.
Oh, and I've DONE the circle chain thing, and it works pretty well. You might be surprised how short it makes the chain, though. At least with only one chain.
