Ok it's a rather simple question. I took apart the Recon front barrel and I took the barrel inside but it has a yellow piece attached to it.

this is the barrel i took apart.



i put in on my NF and it looks really cool. dont care if it decrease range. but the yellow piece looks bad.




does anyone know how to take it off? (This is just a temp barrel by the way im going to buy a pvc or cpvc that has the same dimensions but my car isn't running right now and the hardware store is pretty far)

also does anyone know the dimension of the back of this barrel?

You could sand/dremel it off.

From what i know its only glued on there so if you place it in really hot water for a little it should come right off.

I put it under hot water for 30 minutes and nothing. I might just cut it out

Make sure it's really hot water, then it will only take 5 minutes.
