Hierarchy: No, no it does not. However, that is largely irrelevant. What IS relevant is the fact that you're surfing the internet whilst clutching the brass-wrapped carcass of a small animal, which is fucking Effeminate.

That's just awesome. I think the bones may be a little much and seem to draw away from the steam punk "ness?" but I like it over all.

I wish I could punch everything steam punk right in the face. Seriously....until they make like a really good steam punk movie (and no, Hell Boy is not a really good steam punk movie) I just wish it would go away.

No, Hellboy's not even close to being steampunk; I love it, but it's not steampunk--although Del Toro does take some visual cues from steampunk (the clockwork Nazi's hand, for example). However, I would love to see Del Toro get his hands on some actual steampunk. The man's a visionary. Although, anything that has anything to do with William Gibson may be unfilmable, in the long haul... I'm still waiting for, say, Alex Proyas to do a good Neuromancer. Maybe Terry Gilliam, for the Total Geek Experience. At any rate, the moral is that hard SF doesn't sell; the thought/explosion ratio is almost assuredly too high.
