Well a few months back I modified my RECON CS-6 just to do the AR removal mod, but what I also did, is that I took out ALL the internals out (orange pieces) so that what I could spray paint the shells SILVER, and I modded the spring by stretching it just a tad bit so i could get a better range... As soon as the spray paint dried up I put all the internal back in to there (hopefully original spots), screwed in the internals back into place, screwed back the shells on and everything.

NOW! At this part it got my angry (I have opened up the RECON thousands of times and put them back and it work fine those 1000 times) now this 1001th time... when I prime the top to load one stefan/streamline, the top allows me to pull back... but not pull back far enough to let the plunger settle on the catch mechanism...

IM SORRY I DONT HAVE A PICTURE... ITS BECAUSE MY CAMERA IS BEING STUPID...

IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. CAN YOU POST A PICTURE OF THE RECON INTERNALS (still screwed onto the half shell)
in other words... just post a link to a picture of the recon opened up..

Yes I have... but I could never find the right one most of the time the pictures looked too small for my vision.

Have you tried my picture, because it's different than silentsnipe's.

You went wrong by stretching the spring.
This is especially bad in Recons. When you stretch the spring you change the diameter of the spring, so now it doesn't sit nicely in the case.
The best way to fix this is to swap the spring back to stock, or external spring.
