I moded the stock gun using foam and rubber bands trying to get better range and got like 20 feet so I chucked the internals and made this

I cut the original slider piece in half to attach the pump handle and used the other half to elevate the pump because a piece of plastic needs to slide under it.

the hardest part was attaching the handle from the longshot. I got it on tight so no glue was needed

I used a hanger to attach trigger to pull pin and attached some cpvc for a barrel.

Enjoy.

You do know, that thing originally had more potential than a 2k. I'm not kidding, look at the directory.

I guess it's cool, but I don't really see the point.

If at first you don't succeed, add more epoxy.

Does it have to have a point? The point is fun. Titans are banned at most wars, yet many people still have titans with two foot long barrels just to launch darts a few hundred feet. There's really no point, but it's still fun to do. I say kudos to the idea of the X2K.

I personally like it. I mean, it looks like a crossbow, and gets standard 2k ranges. I mean, whats not to like? its like, a more awesome shell for a 2k. Plus it makes use of the Longshot front gun handle

I guess I should add that the Ls gun handle is put in very skillfully. How did you connect it to the air tank pin?

At first I was like "Oh man he made a ls front gun handle the trigger for this"

and then you put an air tank in a monstrous springer for no reason...

I really hope this gun was broken beyond repair before you decided to put an air tank in it...At any rate, nice mod I suppose.

This was not a spring powered gun, it used a crappy bungie cord and got like 15 feet stock

Crappy gun becomes sweet shell. It looks nice, although I was a little disappointed that you had not in fact figured out a way to put a trigger on the crapbow.
