I absolutely LOVE this RSCB barrel/clip system. With Imasoulman's flow increase, I am able to get ranges not unlike my turreted SM1.5 while having a much more battle friendly system that doesn't use a ramrod. The 3/4'' PVC to the 9'' long CPVC barrel makes a perfectly streight reference, COMPLETELY unlike the wavy AT2k shell that lets you have AMAZING accuracy just with eye-balling it. You just need to look down the barrel and you KNOW where your dart will land! The clip can hold 4 darts, and you can preload one dart to have a total of 5 darts before needing to reload.

Parts needed/used:
1/2'' CPVC - Amount Depends - Can use some other barrel material that can be fitted to a CPVC coupler
1 - 1/2'' CPVC Elbow Coupler
1 - 1/2'' CPVC Tee Coupler
6'' - 3/4'' PVC - SCH40
1 - 3/4'' PVC Endcap
Plumber's Goop OR Epoxy
A Brain

Instructions

I am sorta writing this after the fact, so I assuming you know the basics of modding and can deduce from the pictures what I DON'T say or what I don't specify in the writeup.

Firstly, this mod was insprired by Jerm with his Internal AT3k Inline Clip which of course was fathered by this writeup. I thought to myself "If he could do one with a AT3k, then I can do one with a AT2k!".

So I did.

So here's what I did, I took my brand spanking new AT2k from Big Lots and first did the airflow enhancement procedure that Imasoulman wrote about to get SuperMAXX 1500-like power, and then I plugged the pump. After that I decided that I'll start this mod because I didn't want to CPVC a AT2k turret which would require ramroding. (TEDIOUS during combat) So to make room for how close I wanted the clip & barrel to be to the airtank, I did ALOT of cutting on the AT2k shell.

I took out the fake tank in the back and cut off the back part that would keep it on. Then I cut off the 'handle' part on top of the AT2k and also cut off the goo-gauge. (I first cut off the top, drained the goo, then cut it again at the bottom of it and drained it a little more and flushed it with water then goop'd it) After all the cutting was done I put the internals back into the shell then I gooped the CPVC elbow onto the front of the airtank. To keep the CPVC elbow in place for it to set, I actually put togeather the clip system minus the barrel and laid the gun on it's back, facing up. The clip system, being so close to the shell, kept the CPVC elbow from falling backwards while keeping it streight as it dried. Frankly, I took a couple tries to keep it from falling over.

And that's pretty much it! Credit goes to Radio to bug me to take some more pictures and make a writeup. I hope this gets into the directory.

PICTURES TIME!

Timmytown: Thank you for taking care of that idiot VACC, fine fine work. (no pic)
VACC: Are you fucking retarded? Goodbye.

How's that for funny Timmytown?
It's like VACC was up early wishing me a happy birthday!

I really like this. Expect to see something similar in the next month or so from me.

Do you have any problems with the transition from the 3/4" PVC to the CPVC? Whenever I've tried out a RSCB or in-line clip I've used 1/2" PVC to PETG or brass.

I have a RSCB at2k, and I love it. One primary I use often. Mine holds seven darts, I use the ball valve (you replaced it) as a shoulder stock. Gets 80ft flat.
Good job modifying it to use CPVC. Looser barrel material is usually better than tight for RSBC though. The dart has to go partway into the barrel just by shaking it.... I would reccomend PETG unless your darts are real skinny.

I seen a movie about that once.

What barrel length do you find works best? You've tried at least two so far, judging by the pictures in your write-up. Can this hit 100'? How is the junction from 3/4" PVC to 1/2" CPVC coupler to 1/2" CPVC? I've been interested in this sort of clip for years now, but I've never actually done it...some day...very soon!

The 9'' works best. The first one I tried was around 4 and 1/2'' long.

I haven't measured yet. All I can say is "It get ranges, and it shoots as fast as my SuperMAXX 1.5k"

The CPVC 3-way T coupler is not completely wide as a normal streight CPVC coupler. So with a little deburring of the 3/4'' PVC edge I can actually SHOVE the 3/4'' PVC onto the 1/2'' 3-way coupler. Then I put a endcap on and voila! This is much more stable than it sounds like.

The first 10' of CPVC I got was actually quite loose. So my darts slide in just fine for this RSCB clip. It REALLY depends on your CPVC... if you CPVC is too tight, you might have to drill out the insides to fit... or just get PETG and wrap it in E-Tape enough to fit into a CPVC coupler.

Thanks for all the responses, and I'm glad I've spurred some on to make their own. :D

I actually I what I meant to say was how is the dart feed from the 3/4" to the cpvc T coupler? When I have made RSCBs I used 1/2" PVC the feed wasn't really a problem going from 1/2" PVC to PETG, but the transition from 3/4" PVC to cpvc is much bigger.

I NEVER had a dart get caught anywhere.
