I recently noticed A hissing noise below the handle of my Magstrike. Has any one had this problem before? I have plumber's goop on the bladder as well as hose clamps and the stock clamps (the hose clamps overlap the original clamps).

Any suggestions? Thanks Guys!

Thats the way I do it. Use a rag with some light fast rubbing.

Ok well what I would suggest is that you take everything out, soak it in warm soapy water, then locate the leak and seal it.

The only way to get a recon over 100' would be to throw it.-atomatron

Not if you take everything out, then afterwards just glue the trigger back in.

Don't listen to maseman.
Ever.

Does it hiss while you are pumping?
Or after you have fully pumped it?

I found the problem, it was the hose connecting the bladder and the trigger. I found it by just opening the gun, It fell right off. It did it after I had pumped less that 10 times.

Was it the iron man one? The one I bought from value village had the same problem. I just drilled a hole into the bladder cap where the broken fitting was, and glued the tubing directly into there.
