I'm trying to put an air gun into a DTB that is mounted to my LS. A 2K won't work, as it's too big. Any ideas what to put in it? I'm also trying to keep it turreted, but it will be manually turned, as I can't seem to rotate it by wire, as well as attempting to use the slide as a pump.(Though that's not top priority) By the by, to make the DTB manual, I super glued the rotation mech in the "rotated" position by glueing it while it's pulled back.

And if you happen to own said gun, I will buy.

EDIT- When I say, turreted, I mean the DTB.

There are none said turreted airguns smaller than a 2K. Why not single a 2K? I bet it would fit...

Or you can 2K your DTB like mine...expect a writeup within the end of the year

Is this an AT2K with the goo gauge still on it? If so, remove it or use a SM1.5K. Other than that there really isn't a smaller air gun other than a SSPB but that would suck pretty bad... Try sticking a nightfinder in it or something, you'd end up getting better ranges anyways.

That's perfect, except that it's mounted to my LS... I bet I can change where the pump is though. Thanks, just what I needed.

Wait, I just had an epiphany.

If I drilled a hole into the pump rod, and cut the sides of the pump tube, I can use the slide to pump it. Would that work?
Or maybe I can use a new pump.

Yep, it may be a bit awkward to pump. I though that intead of using 5 pumps, I can use the cocking handle and pump (Half Pumps) it 10 times.

Yup.

That would be a rediculously short pump-stroke, and you would probably have to pump it ALOT just to fire one shot. You would have to find a way to lengthen the travel of the DTG's slide for it to be effective.

I'm guessing I'll have to elongate the slits on where the slide rests.

Then you may as well make a new cocking handle, because you are ripping up a piece of plastic that has no structure whatsoever. You will make a mess of the handle if you do that.

The cocking slide on the DTB would make a terrible pump stroke. Normally, the shorter the stroke the less pressure you can achieve. You can put a pump inside the long-shot handle (hand grip) or mount it beneath it. Good luck.

If your ls is singled without a boltsled, why not use the bolt to pump it. It will only require a few pumps since the gap for the bolt is really long.
