Finally, I finished painting my two Fireflies. I used Vinyl dye as always, found at automotive stores. Check out the video to see the clip mod. All that is needed is a little trimming on the front frame of the gun. The range is still the same, 25 ft for glow darts, 35 ft. for whistling darts. Streamlines and taggers can go up to 50 ft at times.

You can see that I did not use the front orange piece. The clips stay in without it.

If you want to try painting yours, here's a tip.
I put strips of e-tape on the underside of the cocking slider to prevent the paint from getting rubbed off.

Good news, these Fireflies are on Ebay this week!

The end of the video gets a little strange, but enjoy.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

That girl thing in the dark was creepy. Nice clean paint job. Love the FF's.

Way to go. Honestly, i think your videos are on par with Angel's, but then again, I have kinda slated ideas of Nerf videos... Thanks alot Ice for killing videos for me.

I personally like the Firefly. I mean, its like the sub-machine gun of Nerf. Its compact and cute, not unlike the Maverick. Its my guilty pleasure I suppose.

My favorite aspect of the Firefly is it's similarity with the P90.

Your Firefly looks even more like a P90 because of it's awsome paint-job.

I don't think it resembles a p90 at all. But I do love the paintjobs.

Thanks everyone.

Hoceky, that's the ghost we set up in the basement to scare people. My brother went down there in the dark and just froze in fear when he saw it.

I think Naija Blue's Fireflies look very close to the P-90.

Yea, I was going for a sort of GITS look with that one. Its very P90 though.

And I dig the paint job.

Good photoshop!

Advice, go have fun with them. Show 2 people playing with them or range testing.

You know, fun!
