JSB, The guns are pretty different. The similarities are that they both have auto-rotating turrets and air tanks. The differences are dimensional and magnitudinal. The SM3K is larger and has a larger turret. The trigger mechs are different as well. The rotation mech on the SM3K varies from gun to gun, and I know there are at least two different rotation mechs, and perhaps a third.
I'm still very curious as to how you tightened the turret on your SM3K. But yes, getting 100' flat from an AT3K (turretted) is very impressive.

Sorry about that nerfnut, but my at3k is singled, not turreted. I absolutely hate turrets, excepting the ERTL rapid fire shotgun or whatever it is called.

Well, if you effectively fixed the poor seal between the tank and the turret (I had something in mind along the lines of a stronger spring and perhaps an o-ring) and increased the flow rate (similar to my AT2K range improvement mod), it's completely believable that the AT3K can reach 100' flat, but not without these modifications.
