It's really sad. I just wanted you to know what happens when you run into Wal-Mart on Black Friday screaming, "Must have Air Tech 3000 Twin Pack!" and some worker trying to suppress the crowd gets trampled and killed and you get sent to court with murder charges.
What's better is the fact that your information is a bit off. The worker that got killed was a temporary worker hired from an agency, not a regular Wal-Mart employee. He wasn't trying to supress the crowd, but was simply opening the front doors. When the crowd surged through, braking the doors and overpowering the employees on the other side, he got trampled. Also, no one has been arrested and they can't be charged with murder as there was no intent to kill, nor was the intent of anyone in the mob to get to the sales, regardless of the threat to human life. At most they would be charged with manslaughter, but it will be impossible to tell who dealt the fatal blow, so more than likely, it will be very difficult to charge anyone with any crime. Over a dozen other people also feel in the stampede.
Anyone that went to a Wal-Mart after this incident was reported had to have noticed that you couldn't go through the front doors, but only through one of the side doors.
