How many people did you slay trying to get to the outdoor toy section? Did you hit Walmart, Toys R us, gamestop, or kohls? Most importantly for next year, approximately how many were stocked?

I managed to snag some at2ks from kohls online believe it or not, I didnt even have to leave the house! I'd be more than happy to ship one to someone along with 5$ for a blue at3k. I tried walmart.com but they were sold out within seconds of 5:00.

I was able to pick up an Airtech 3000 pack from my local WalMart. I plan on modding them as Christmas gifts for a couple school buddies.

I was also at my local mall this morning, and I didn't buy, but checked out the clear Maverick at GameStop. The packaging was appealing, and the gun looked awesome. Sadly, I didn't get one.

I got 2 packs of the AT3K's at Walmart, the lines were way too long at Kohls so I had to pass on the Longshot and Gamestop wouldn't sell me the clear Mav.

I stopped by TRU, Walmart, Kohls, and Target. Really didnt find anything of interest except for the 50% off at Kohls, however all they had left was one at2k and some nitefinders. Stupid though, they marked the at2k up to 13.99 so 50% off was 6.99. Big deal you can get em for that all day at big lots. Slightly better deal on NF's, marked up to 9.99 so 4.99 with the discount.

I woke up at 4:00 a.m., was out the door by 4:30, and boy was it worth it.

3 AT3K 2 packs- I had to push over a migit, a pregnant women, and many small children to get these.
SMDTG set- Only $15 bucks at my Kohls.
4 AT2Ks- $6.50 big lots
Dremel + 150 piece kit- $20 big lots. They had two, they had the one I showed you all for $15, then they had a way better one for $20.

I bought some cheap games and got my xmas shopping done, and even had enough money left over to buy my rapid fire shotgun from bass pro shops.

So worth it.

My bro and I barelyy got an AT3K twin pack.

We went to one Walmart and saw somebody walking out with the last pack!!!!! So we ran to another Walmart, went to the Nerf section, thought they didn't have any left because we couldn't find them. My bro started walking out of the isle and I pulled one out from the back of the shelf. This was at 6:45ish.
This was also the last pack at this Walmart!

We split the price so we each got a gun. :(

Hah. I went to Walmart at 130, hoping that there would be some decent guns left. I went to the nerf section, there weren't any AT3Ks, I was bummed, as I walked out, there was an endcap FULL of them. I grabbed two packs and laughed to myself.

Then I found a mission pack, which is two clips and 10 streamlines for 5 bucks, and I grabbed a Longshot at Target.

Kohl's pissed me off. They didn't have a longshot anywhere, and then I went to go get an AT2K, and they were marked up to $13 and discounted to $8... when they normally sell for $5.

I know I posted this in another thread, but it deserves two posts.

Let us lay down our wallets in respect:

(Taken from Associated Press, 11/28/08)
"But the excitement over the early morning specials proved fatal for at least one store. Police from Nassau County, N.Y. say a Wal-Mart worker died after being trampled by a throng of unruly shoppers shortly after the Long Island store opened Friday. Wal-Mart offiicals would not confirm reports of stampede, but said a "medical emergency" caused them to close the store."

Someone died the day after thanksgiving because people wanted to save a hundred bucks on a laptop and get their kid a game system at twenty dollars off.

I planned to go shopping today, but now, I'm just gonna spend an extra $10 on an 3k pack...

Horrible, just horrible.

Mob mentality can get pretty bad, it's like the thoughts of everyone combine except for their common sense.

I live in Seattle, so trust me, unless you want National Guard on your ass, walk away from a mob.

Woohoo tear gas and batons ROX!

This is why I hate the xmas season. The worst of people come out at the stores. And there are more idiots hoarding to the stores taking up good parking spaces. I'm proud to say I slept thru todays sillyness. There are no deals worth it for me to venture into that chaos.

But some of the WalMart employees acted as if they'd had no warning they were going to have to work with crowds or get up early.

For some that was probably the case, their co-workers calling in at the last minute that they "just got very sick." :o
