I'm a pretty new member but still I've been seeing a lot of these (3 to be exact)
members who posted large amounts of pr0n which is very traumatizing or
may get younger members into trouble.
Why does this happen?

If you see it, just report it to an admin and it will be deleted.

The admins go through the validation list manually, which is currently several thousand names long. They get 99.9997% of the spammers, but some slip through. Like bobafan said, if you see one, let an admin know, and they'll be dealt with quickly.
Just so you know that these boards are as spam free as they are because of a lot of serious work on the part of the admins.
