After going over the Black Friday ads like Gen. Paton going over his plans for the invasion of Sicily, I have stumbled upon a few Nerf related sales for tomorrow. If anyone is brave stupid enough to go out tomorrow (like me) look for the following:

I saw a TV ad for at3k twin packs for $10 at Wal-Mart

All Nerf is 50% off at KOHL'S

Perhaps the best one though is at Gamestop. If you get the N-Strike game for Wii, they give you a Maverick for free, but according to the photo, it's not a regular blue or yellow maverick. This one is a Gamestop exclusive and it's clear; like see-through clear, like a SF or PC. If I get ANYTHING Nerf related tomorrow, it would be that.

That is all for now. If I get that Maverick, I will throw up some pics.

At Ocean State Job Lot they are selling the lanard nerf grenade that there was a topic about a little while ago. It's 10 dollars, they're also selling other lanard blasters.

I was able to get a look at the Maverick that they are giving away as a doorbuster at GameStop, as well as get some info about how it will work. I have some friends that work for GS.

First off, here is a pic of the Maverick:



OMC is right that you will only get it if you buy the N-Strike Game bundle for the Wii priced at $59.99. Each store has about 12-24 Mavericks. The store I went to is a high traffic store and they only got 12 in for tomorrow. There is a major catch to the doorbuster to ensure that people don't abuse the sale. Anyone out there that may have thought about buying the bundle to get the Maverick and then returning the bundle will have their hopes crushed. If you return the bundle, you must return te Maverick as well. They will not take the return at all (not even for store credit) without seeing the receipt and receiving the Maverick in an unopened package. If the package has been opened in any way, they will not accept the return and you are stuck with it and the game you may not have wanted.

Good luck getting one. I'll be in line at 4 AM just for this.

No, I'd be getting a Mav, a modular NF, and a new wiimote gun shell for $30. The game itself would sell for $30 if it hasn't been opened.

Actually, The game is sixty bucks... I thought there was more when I said I loved it, it's not very good.

Also, I hate exclusives, but that mav is pretty damn sexy. Unfortunately, I don't own a wii.

It truly is a sexy thing. I stood in line for 2 hours (if you can call it a line) and I was the first one to get it. I may even chance it after Black Firday to see if they have any left, but I doubt it will be the case. The GS in Watchung in the Blue Star Center got 20, and they had the most of any store in a 50-mile radius.

The game isn't that bad. The difficulty to get the gold medals is decent, but for anyone that thinks that Hasbro is releasing a couple of these as real blasters, I hgihly doubt it. The mechanics that would be required for some of them just isn't feasible. It also looks like if they did relesae some of them, half would be springers and the other half would be battery-operated.

One of my local stores got 10. when I went there they still had all 10. This was at about 6 pm. The real value of the gun is that after Sunday they will be sent back to Hasbro if they are still on the shelves. If you did get one I would leave it untouched.

I actually have two of them now and I am planning on getting a few more if I can. I know alot of the managers of the stores around here.

Trust me, I'm not opening any of them.
